Vehicle Detail
1970 Ford Bronco with three speed manual transmission and manual drum brakes. It has had power steering installed and a recent paint job that includes painted under hood and interior including dash. I have been driving the bronco to and from work all summer and have never had a carburated vehicle start as easily as this one hot or cold. Comes with the spare tire carrier and a spare tire that is the same as the rest of the wheels. I just like the look without them on.The all terrain tires are 32-11.5 R15 by Pro Comp. The motor runs good but is not original as it has the small plugs instead of the large ones. The 3 speed is column shift and works good except it slides out of 2nd on deceleration. A light touch on the shifter keeps it from happening. Recent battery and radiator. Power steering pump "cries" a little when hot. It has duel gas tanks that are working. The fuel gauge does not. I switch when driving at the first sign of running out as the selector is right there at your feet. Speedometer works and is close. Amps gauge works but is jumpy but no problems charging.. Oil pressure gauge does not work. Water temperature gauge doesn't work but I have a new sending unit that needs instillation. Two speed wipers and working. All lights, turn signals, back up and brake lights are working. The lights on the front bumper are there just for looks and not hooked up. Same with the CB antenna, but I just could not stand the look of the hole that everyone always asked about. Windshield is in good condition and has a recent rubber seal. The side windows go up and down but the glass on the passenger side has some scratches in it. The ignition key does not work in the doors or the glove box. The glove box door has been cut so it can open with the roll cage in the way. Has a security center console, gotta have a place to put the Registration etc. Registration is paid till November. The tub has been cleaned , painted where scratched and given a coat of Herculiner. The seats are old but firm and have some car parts store covers on them. The parking brake works but needs a driver side cable. The mileage is what the speedo says but there is no way of knowing on these older vehicles. Comes with the bikini top. I have tried to list everything I know about the Bronco but if you have any questions please ask. If the Bronco sells for over 6000.00 I well give up the full soft top and all hardware to the winning bidder from my other Bronco. It is older but serviceable. If the winning bidder can not pick up the Bronco right away I can keep it here, just contact me in advance to make arrangements. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! On Nov-10-11 at 10:21:57 PST, seller added the following information:New Information! A question was asked on the gear ratio something I had not checked. I was quite surprised when I checked the front/rear diff tags with a wire brush and it seems the front is 3.50 and the rear is 4.11 ratio. To wheel it the front or rear must be matched to the other.
