1959 Ford Galaxy Fairlane 500 Skyliner barn fresh. Salmon with white top. Interior white,charcoal,gray,salmon vinyl and cloth in good condition. The car has been sitting in garage since 1995. Brakes,fuel pump are out. Most of exhaust needs replaced with some newer. Baseball size dent in right fender,med dent in left bumperette.Purchased from original owner who says mileage is original. Car was started with a fuel I,V. Started right up,engine sounded good. Someone has shown it a little attention with fresh antifreeze,newer fan belt, generator belt and radiator hose.There is very little Bondo at bottom tip of each front fender and a little Bondo on rocker panels of both doors. The car had been undercoated at some point.The body of the car is very straight,floor pans are solid. The stainless steel trim is in very good condition except for some minor dings on the left front fender middle stainless.The engine is a 2 barrell carb. Don't know if it is 332 or 352 C.I. with a Ford-O-Matic transmission.The trunk lid will pop open but according to the manuel the engine has to be running to have trunk work properly.Very rare car that was made only from 1957-1959,production of 50,412. Now estimation is only 1,000 left. The car is in good restorable condition or to rod.Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling. REMEMBER the car does not move on it's own.
