1955 Chevy 2 dr Hardtop, no engine or transmission, some rust in front floor boards, great project car, some rust in lower panel behind door and in front on rear wheel well, I have a new replacement panel for both sides. This vehicle will need to be towed or hauled from this location. I had to re-list this because the last highbidder who bought it never made an attempt to pay for it. I have lowered the reserve, please don't bid unless you plan to pay for this car. I have it advertised locally, if you are interested, please bid accordingly. High bidder is required to pay $ 500.00 within 24 hours of bid closing and the balance due at the time of pickup or within 5 days of end of auction. On Nov-09-11 at 15:16:33 PST, seller added the following information: This is really a pretty solid old 55, the floor boards are not all rusted out, the floor pan on drivers and passenger side need to be replaced (about $100 for the pair) two or three other small areas will need some work. the body panels are pretty solid, small area of rust in front of rear wheel wells (I have included new replacement panels with car) rear valance has two small areas of rust (about a 2 inch area on each side below trunk corners) driver door sill area has some rust, each front fender on top near firewall area and headlight caps need replaced.The paint was removed about 30 years ago and it has been stored inside for most of the time since then (the surface rust makes it look worst than it really is). The hood and both doors have had all paint removed to bare metal and primed (some rust at bottom of passenger door). I had planned to restore this car for myself but must sell due to family health issues, I have lowered the reserve a second time, but will not give it away, if you are looking for a good winter project , you won't be disappointed with this one. I have it on a trailer and will deliver for $1.00 per mile one way within reason.
