Hello. You are bidding on a 1966 Mustang coupe, with 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed stick shift transmission. CONDITION IS AS FOLLOWS: Body: No rust/cancer. This car has spent its entire life in the dry Nevada climate, as well as being garaged when not driven. I have taken several pictures of the floors and quarter panels to show just how solid this car really is. The body has had minor bodywork and only one single repaint in the past. No bent or buckled quarter panels, never a serious accident. Unibody and framerails are excellent, never bent or twisted. Paint still shines bright and looks good as it has been garaged since the repaint. However, to cover my butt, the paintjob was done quite some time ago, so please expect chips, minor dings and blems. Most of the chrome, stainless, and trim is straight and in nice shape. Glass is in nice shape also. Front and rear bumpers are NEW as well as rocker moldings, door handles, side mirror, quarter panel trim, rear taillight bezels and lenses. Interior: Interior is original and complete, and as you can see, very presentable as is. Headliner and visors are still original and have no rips. Dash pad is new. Carpet is in good shape. Rear seat is in good shape. Front seats are in good shape, tracks work fine. However, upper section of the drivers seat has heavy wear on the outside edge. Door panels are very presentable, but could stand a re-tuck on the edges in a couple spots. Kickpanels are in good shape, underdash is all original and unbutchered aside from an aftermarket radio. Shift knob is new. Steering column is tight. All headlights, interior lights, brake lights, gauges, blinkers and wipers work fine, speedometer does not. Seat belts are all intact and in good working order. Drivetrain: Engine was rebuilt roughly 5000 miles ago to the tune of $2600 by a reputable shop. (Yes I have receipts) At that time everything else in the engine compartment was replaced as well. Items include new starter, fuel pump, sending units, belts, hoses, points, plugs, radiator, battery cables, engine mounts, etc. Runs great, fires everytime. Brakes have also been maintained and stop great. Shocks are new, tires are newer also. Front end is tight, car drives straight. Gas tank and sending unit are new as well. The only thing mechanicly on this car that needs work in my oppinion, is the transmission. The car runs and drives on the highway great, but the transmission whines/makes noise, so it may or may not need work. Other than that the car is a super dependable driver with a ton of money in new parts. Overall:If you are looking for a solid driver quality West Coast car, this is it. Excellent for daily or weekend driver, or a good platform for V8/4speed conversion.
