This van is great except for one problem, the transmission is slipping. It does still run and runs pretty well when in-town driving. We took it on a long highway road trip and when we got to our destination the transmission started slipping. I took it to a Honda Dealer to have it looked at and they said the transmission will eventually need to be replaced. They said it could be driven for a couple years before it completely goes out. Unfortunately, I don't want to take that chance since my wife uses it to haul our kids around. This is a great opportunity if you are a mechanic, dealer, wholesaler, or just someone who has the time and skill to replace the transmission. I paid $7,000 for this van in July of 2010 and from what I can tell on ebay, if it has a good transmission it's probably still worth that. Dealers I took it to told me it was worth $4,500 to $5,500 on trade if the transmission was ok.
