Up for auction is a 1968 Chevrolet C-10 pickup. The truck has a paint job of about 6 years old. It does have a few scratches but still decent. It has a re-man 350 motor from auto zone and got a new edelbrock carb at same time. I have installed a new 700r4 transmission (with overdrive) and a new single piece driveshaft made by a local company. It is still a factory 6 lug truck with drum brakes all the way around. The wood in the bed has been removed to be sanded and painted, it never got finished. It will be included along with color matching metal strips. The truck has many new parts including a new fuel pump, all new heater components, wheel cylinders etc. I also have a box of parts to go with it, including a new seat belt, new chrome door handles and window crank, some old parts that have been replaced, some chrome strips for around tail lights, new national brand wheel seals, etc. It is a great truck to drive and continue to "fix up". It has good cooper cobra tires all the way around. Three of the four rims are painted to match the truck. I have a full size matching spare, just dont have a matching rim for it yet. It doesnt show a radio in the pictures, but it does have a cd player with it, i took it out to make a better fit for it in the dash and have yet to do so. The headlight harness has been re done. The truck is a good truck, it is in my opinion a "project" truck. I used it as a daily driver for several months, I quit using it as a DD with the hopes of fixing it up for shows only. I am only selling because of financial reasons. I do have the truck for sale locally and do reserve the rite to end the auction at any time due to local sale. On Oct-29-11 at 22:09:20 PDT, seller added the following information:The truck needs what i believe is called a 'cab support'. the brace that runs under the rear cab corner from the main support rail to the rocker panel. It is rusted. The truck is a short wheelbase, it does have power steering. The truck is factory 6 lug with drum brakes all around. Also, the gas gauge does not read, I think a new wire from the sending unit may fix, if not I have a brand new sending unit to go with the truck. Also the temp gauge reads hot, I think a new temp sender will fix this problem. The truck does not run hot. I have converted it to manual choke, I still have the auto choke with the truck.
