1959 Chevrolet Napco Panel-Fire Truck. This truck was originally used as a civil defence truck then sold to a small fire dept in Louisanna. Truck has had very limited use. This panel is a half ton (6 lug) short bed (115 inch wheel base) truck. This truck is one of the few factory built napcos and that is known by the 5600 GVW (gross vehicle weight) rather than the 5000 GVW for half ton 2 wheel drive or dealer conversion trucks. Also because of perches being riveted rather than bolted as on the conversion trucks. Truck has 235 cubic inch 6 cylinder motor, 4 speed transmission, factory winch, 17.5 rims including spare. Truck has original 2/3 - 1/3 front seat with most of the original upholstry. Truck does not have original paint, as a civil defence colors were white with blue accents. Truck was painted red by fire dept. This is a rust and rot free truck. This truck is an acceptional example of an unrestored survivor. The truck is 62 years old with 3665 miles.
