1962 DODGE POLARA 500 2 door hard top. Original black exterior with red and white interior. 440 engine, .030 over. speed pro pistons. Magnum double shotpeened rods. Kellogg steel billet crank. Purple shaft cam-solids. 284 degree duration(net 238degree) 528" lift. Isky cutom ratio rockers 1.7. Gives you 650" lift on valve. Holley street eliminator intake. Holley 3418-1 carb. 855cfm(tricked). Stage 5 race heads-Ported and polished(flow 220cfm intake). Manley stainless valves/triple springs/teflon valve seals. Hi volumn oil pump. 727 reverse manual valve body. approx. 3500 stall/ratchet b/m shifter. Rear is 8 3/4 with 355 sure grip. 225/70 R 15 BF Goodrich on rear with factory wide wheels. 225/70 R 14 on front. Power drum brakes on all four corners. Non-power steering (do have factory power unit if wanted). New alumn. radiator. Frame is tied. New brake and gas lines,/ all new brakes/shocks/hoses/belts/tires/tank redone with new sending unit. New exhaust with ceramic coated headers and pruple hornie mufflers.(Kind of loud) Body stripped to bear metal top and underside. 4 small rust holes repaired with metal. Never any replacement panels. Pin holes in floor and truck pan were given several coats of fiberglass resin. Could not bring myself to cut out and replace original virgin pans. Painted dupont basecoat/clear coat black. 3 coats of each. Paint is 8 1/2 out of 10. Very good driver quality on straight body. $2500.00 worth of new chrome bumpers and trim. (Couple small pieces could still use plating). Shaved truck and hood emblems as well as front fender and door lettering. (Too much bling for me). New windshield with good rear glass, side glass got peppered by sand while blasting., but is usuable. New glass rubber and all felt channels and wiskers. All new interior, seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, package tray etc. Very nice! All lights work. All gauges work except gas gauge. Also, wipers and heater will require some work. Radio delete plate, good strong driver has had good 100 mile shake down. Miles on engine is unknown, runs strong with no leaks, odd noise or issues. Front suspension is not new, but seems fine. Car does have light vibration coming from rear end. Might not have lash adjusted correctly or have bearing going bad. Just want to be honest, not hide anything about the car. Don't have to sell, just ready to move onto other projects. No low ball offers Please. Trades only considered if reserve is not met. Reserve is to cover cost of car and materials only, labor just went out the window. Have receipts and pics. of car in bear metal. VIN tag was missing when I bought the car. Had tag made from numbers on original title. Had police check run, not a problem. If this is a problem for you, please don't bid. Pics. show VIN tag on inner fender.
