Original 1968 Mustang GT Fastback with it's original VIN coded engine. The car is largely unrestored with no bodywork and mostly original red paint with blacked out turn signal hood. The original J code 302 runs well - lot's of power, with the exception of an off idle stumble from an older Carter carb - I do not have the original carb. The heads were rebuilt approx 8,000 miles ago in the mid 90's. The 4 speed shifter, clutch all work smoothly with no problems. Power disc front brakes, no PS. The interior is in great shape, seats perfect, carpet good, dash perfect, console with 1 small tear. All in all interior is in very good condition. The exterior is again largely untouched - as delivered to the original owner in Greely, CO. There is no evident bodywork top to bottom - just original paint with a couple rust spots - lower quarters, trunk lid lip - not big repairs. Floors and trunk floor are superb, untouched condition. I purchased the car a little over 5 years ago with intention of possibly restoring, but just lost storage. Prior to my ownership the car was driven by a serviceman in Southern Arizona, this in part with starting life in salt free Colorado, speaks to the overall lack of rust. This owner owned from 1997. All numbers match. I have the original owners manual, warranty card, warranty manual, and temporary ownercard. In addition, I have the original build sheet in near perfect shape, and burtex trunk mat - poor condition. Clear title. Overall it's a nice original, straight, never damaged or hit, with its original VIN drivetrain is a great candidate for restoration or can be used as-is with little work. Car sold as-is.
