Rear end is 1976 cb125 laced to a 17x1.2 (I think). Rear shocks are import ct 70 from eBay. The bike is on several websites like http://www.pipeburn.com/home/2011/2/27/140cc-racer.html http://www.retromotoonline.com/archives/853 http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=23031.0 To be filed under the category of, “No flippin’ way,” . When some see a Chinese built pit-bike they see and inexpensive two-wheeler for kids. Others, like Brad Smith, see potential. Inspired by the tiny Kreidler GP bikes of the 60's and the Honda RC116, Brad started his works replica from a $50 pitbike frame on ebay. He added some frame rails to the backbone to help really transform the look. The swingarm is a trick extended pit bike part, another ebay find. A combination of CB125 parts and CRF70 fork tubes help create the front end. The CB125 mechanical disc front wheel was laced to a tiny 1.2×17 inch rim, and a 1.4×17 on the back (also CB125). The engine is a 140cc YX engine, which should be good for near 15 hp. A few other miscellaneous parts are from Moto Bits, and the diminutive clip-ons are Woodcraft. Like Brad’s last bike featured here, the bodywork is true art. This seat and tank is made from scratch and sells the “GP” look completely. The result? A budget racer that would easily slip inbetween a few works racers at the Honda Collection Hall. I doubt many would doubt its presence there. Another tip of the hat to Brad Smith for creating a truly original and breathtaking motorcycle. Q: Howdy, Well done! Are you including the faring pictured and what would shipping be to Ca (92504) Thanks for your troubles... Kris A: Yes the fairing is included....For this size bike the shipping would be 300.....I have a friend who drives a box truck to California every month and back.
