Vehicle Detail
1993 Range Rover Vogue on gas / duel fuel The good: Twin gas tanks underneath. Installed 3 years ago 40 Litre sill tank Runs beautifully on gas & petrol ARB bullbar & rear step Roof-rack Starts brilliantly on either fuel Projecta duel battery system with over-ride button for self jump-start & deep cycle battery Snorkel Leather seats all quite good for age - no rips or tears. Discovery transfer case with manual diff lock selection instead of viscous diff Coil spring suspension - NOT air suspension Reg until May 2012 Push button start & quick cut off button in centre of console. Ignition key only operates steering lock. New ignition approx $80 on ebay. I like it the way it is! :) Tow hitch can be attached to bullbar for launching boats / positioning trailer by pushing rather than pulling or reversing trailer... The bad: Gearbox is getting lazy about changing up until warm. As soon as it's warm, changes gear beautifully. Centre console around gearstick worn Other bits loose or missing that are annoying but easily replaced or reattached... couple of air vents, plastic around two door locks....all consistant with age & use. Tyres at around 40% - probably 6 months life left Passenger seat moves in all directions but won't move forward Cracked windscreen Rear upper tailgate was replaced after a brick was thrown through the old one - needs to be adjusted to stay closed... A problem with a lot of classic rangies! Slight paint cracking on one area of bonnet Roof faded It is in good condition considering the mileage at 385,000 kms. I've tried to list all the bad points - there's not too much a bit of attention wouldn't fix. I do an average of 600 to 800 kms a week in it & have done for the last four years. It starts instantly every morning & has taken me through some of the best & remotest parts of Victoria with heaps of comfort & power to spare.... will do the same for the next owner with not too much work!! Fuel consumption around 250 kms per $30 of gas.... Selling due to upgrading to later model Any questions, please email.... Powered by eBay Turbo Lister The free listing tool.
