Vehicle Detail
I tried to sell this truck a few weeks ago on E-bay and the buyer ended up being a fake. I bought this truck a year and a half ago for my delivery business in Cincinnati,OH. I have since sold my business and would like to sell this truck in order to buy a jeep. I have driven this truck over 20,000 miles this last year and I like it. It is currently my daily driver. I have taken it to Indiana twice this year as well as Ohio. I also moved it here to Colorado loaded up last fall. I trust it. It's a solid little truck but it is not to much to look at. The guy I bought it from had the head rebuilt, fuel pump replaced and the transmission and clutch redone. I had quite a few things done to it to make sure I could use it for deliveries. The good:new tail lightsnew radiatornew water pumpnew thermostat new water hosesnew water reservoir fill tank new parking break cablenew carpetnew seat coversrefinished interiornewer alternator newer fuel pumpnewer snow tires(non-studded)recently rebuilt headrecently replaced clutchworking block heaterworking heatertruck bed lightsnewer headlights This truck has been road tested and is in great working order. It also comes with another set of rims and tires. The bed has a fresh coat of NAPA truck bed liner sprayed into it and a newer carpet. The bad: The truck only starts if you keep the block heater plugged in cause the glow-plugs need to be replaced now. Apparently the guy I bought it from had the work done and then parked the truck a few years before he tried to sell it instead of finish it so it needs new glow-plugs to start well. It's my daily driver now so I just keep plugging it in so I can start it in the morning. $300 maximum is the estimate from my mechanic. The valve cover leaks a bit now. On one of my last trips across the country it started leaking a bit. Not a ton, but worth mentioning also recently the drivers door outside handle stopped opening the door. It opens from the inside, but not the out. I haven't looked into fixing it yet. This truck has had rust on it. It still has some(pictured) under the hood around but not on the strut towers. Most of the rust has been fixed but the truck could use some paint now. It's really not one of those pristine VW trucks, but it's a great little truck and solid. I have driven it 20,000 miles since last year but now I moved to Colorado up a steep canyon and I prefer a Jeep. As you can see in the pic there is new carpet and seat covers. It gets warm inside and is a great comfy ride in winter. It also has new floor mats not pictured. I also fixed all the interior lighting the one picture is at night, inside the truck with the light on. Payment and delivery: I would like payment or deposit by Wednesday the 2nd. The last buyer messed around for a week before I found out it was a bogas scam. I can deliver this truck to many locations for a reasonable fee if needed. (around $500+gas depending on distance) You can call me if you are serious about buying this truck. I will give my cell so please don't call to chat if you are just an enthusiast not interested in buying the truck. 970 319 1605isaac
