Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1971 Triumph Stag MK1 Automatic Transmission. This is a modified Stag with a Chevy Engine ( 8 Cyl) with a large cam. All lights/signals work. Speedo works. RPM works. Temp Gauge works. Clock and Gas gauge do not work. Cluster has working signals. This car was a gift and I enjoyed working on it. It was originally White. I had it stripped down and painted blue. I had the seats reupholstered and new carpet installed. The interior looks nice. I had the wood taken out and sanded down and re-stained. This is a three speed automatic transmission. The power steering has a small leak. There is a fuel cell that was installed by the previous owner to replace the gas tank. I had the engine worked on and had the compression checked out. It's good. A new Holly carburetor ( Not rebuilt.) was installed. I had a new Kenwood CD player with USB and separate speakers installed. ( see photos) I am selling due to moving and not having space for a 2nd car. I have the following receipts from 2011 This is a blast to drive, and always get's lot's of thumbs up. The car had some rust repair done, and the paint job looks really nice. I have a couple of small nicks , but overall the body shop did a really nice job. I am not a car person, but I will try my best to answer any quesitons. I would say I was about 80% done with what I thought I would complete. The convertible top needs to be replaced. There is a hardtop with matching blue paint. I had quite a bit of work done on this car and its all backed up by receipts for review. Master Cyl/ Brakes/ Front Shocks Stereo / Speakers/ ( Kenwood player and speakers) & install. $550 New upholstery / Seats re-done / New Carpet $1,659 Re-Chromed back bumper $450 Engine/ Carburetor/ Drive shaft/ Throttle Linkage/ Temp Gauge / Repair electrical wiring in engine bay./ Install Relay. Compression Test/ Holly Carb 750-N Total $3486.00 Paint/ Body $3500 Total $9000.00 Plus $5000 was paid for this Triumph Stag. On Oct-25-11 at 18:43:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Revised : Dash instruments. Temp gauge : Working Speedometer : Working Volt Gauge: Working RPM guage : NOT working Clock : Not working Gas: Not working The light for the dash did not go on, so that needs a bulb. The starter is a smaller (reduced) starter to fit within the engine compartment. It takes a few cranks if it gets hot. I was told I should put in a larger starter with a heat shield to correct that. (Trying to answer questions.) When were those photos taken. They were taken last weekend. October 23, 2011 When was it driven last ? I drove it last weekend. Street and freeway I drove about 20 miles on the freeway at about 70 to 80 MPG. I forgot to mention I had a 2nd fan installed so there are two working fans. One in front, and one behind the radiator. These keep the engine properly cooled. ( $250 including labor.) The chrome around the door handles are pitted. The Convertible top needs to be replaced and the T-Bar should be re done, it is splitting in two areas. ( See photo) There aren't any major leaks, but the Power Steering does have a leak, and there might be a spot or two of oil.
