Vehicle Detail

Very rare matching number 429 Cobra Jet Mach 1, J code with Ram Air. Original Bright Blue metallic paint, extremely faded Denver Car. The car is very restorable. The torque boxes, inner aprons and frame rails are very solid. Body will require work on rear quarters, trunk pan, pass floor area...just say it needs a complete restoration. The interior really isn't to bad, see pics. Never messed with. The engine was completely rebuilt using a dished piston to get the compression down a little. I just had the engine dyno'd see the dyno sheet it made 370 hp @ 4900 rpm's so right the factory spec.. Dyno guy said the engine had a "puny" street cam, so more power can be achieved. Carb completely rebuilt and Ignitor 3 electronic module installed in a reman. distributor. The car sits on 4 new Firestone tires. Original traction lok rear end still in place. This is just a great car to restore with plenty of value when completed. Study the Marti report, dyno sheet, even the original build sheet was found, NADA value, and a professional appraisel done in '09 states $17,500 before the engine was dyno tuned. This car has high value and is extremely COOL! Full Professional restoration is available, check out my website at www.classiccarrestorationllc.com. Please email with questions or phone number. Winning bidder is responsible for pick up at my location, I do have a trailer and can assist with local delivery. Forgot to mention I do have the original ram air, air cleaner, seal, and lid in very good condition. On Oct-12-11 at 06:11:33 PDT, seller added the following information: The '71 thru '73 Mach 1's are fast becoming a hot car to own, check out this link to the latest issue of Hemmings Motor News (Nov 2011), note the 429 CJ's being so rare hardly get mentioned. http://www.hemmings.com/hmn/stories/2011/11/01/hmn_buyers_guide1.html On Oct-13-11 at 19:24:16 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to a couple questions, yes I do have the hood and it is in very good condition. The transmission is original and still in the car and has never been removed, so it has not been rebuilt. May consider even or partial trade for rust free original running driving car or truck.
