This incredible, fully customized and recently restored van was recently aquired by me, and is being offered for sale for the first time EVER to a Worldwide audience right here on eBay.

The first thing you thought of was SCOOBY DOOBY DOOOO! The next thing you thought of was how cool it would be to be on the crest of the retro van phase that is starting to work its way East from SoCal. The third thing was, "Now that is the coolest van I have EVER seen"!
You are not alone.
This van is the epitome of Kool. The King of Class.
It was just finished less than a year ago, and has only about 3,500 miles since completion.
The van started out as an ultra clean stocker that someone had been tooling around in here in sunny Florida. The minute the FOR SALE sign hit its window, however, the journey began to turn it into a killer 70's era restored Hot Rod Van the likes of which haven't been seen for decades!
The body was already super clean and straight, so minimal work was needed to get it up to speed. A few dents and dings were removed, and some trim holes welded in place, then it was off to get prepped for paint.
Colors were picked right off the cover of a 1976 issue of Vanning magazine, and are a custom blend of Root Beer Brown Metallic and Natural Orange. They were professionally applied, then hand rubbed out to a gorgeous lustre that shows much better in person than in the 100 photos below! COME SEE IT!!! You will buy it in two seconds flat!
The body is ALL STEEL, and I can run a 2lb. felt covered magnet over the entire body and it sticks. This is NOT a bondo buggy or patch panel machine!!!! You will not find a nicer van!!!
Glass is all original and consists of windshield, rear door windows, and side door windows. They are all in great condition, and show only the lightest marks and wear from normal use, with NO cracks or big chips.
All seals, window surrounds, and weatherstripping was replaced in the restoration and still shows wonderfully.
Window fuzzies are new, and the windows roll up and down with ease. Vent windows seal so well, it takes to hands to close then up in the lock position!
Roof rack is functional, although I don;t believe it was ever used because the roof shows no marks or scuffs from carrying a load.
Mirrors are chrome dentist style units, and provide good visibility to the driver when adjusted properly.
The front bumper houses custom cut-in fog lamps controlled via a engine bay mounted switch.
The show chromed rear bumper looks incredible, and is super clean.
1932 FORD door handles grace the panel door front and rear, and come with keys to lock and unlock them.
Driver and passenger doors lock with the ignition key.
Grille is a custom refinished unit, and the stock grille comes with the van as well, along with a box of other assorted extras and maintenance items.
Headlights have been replaced with 32 FORD tri-bar units that look fantastic and shine wonderfully!
Tail lamps are upgraded LED units that really show when you are stopping!
Door handles, trim, and exterior bits and pieces all show wonderfully, and are simply a professional detail away from being like new.
The wheels are REAL DEAL vintage Keystone Klassics that look like new and show wonderfully! They are wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger raised white letters out back, and Goodyear blackwalls upfront. All the wheels have Pilot .44 Magnum shell casing valve stem caps to match the door locks on the interior.
The .44 Magnum theme carries to the inside of the van with a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter topped by a Smith & Wesson .44 pistol grip.
The interior is just to cool to imagine! Everything about it screams 1975, and it all is new or made to be new!
Wood flooring runs the length of the back section, and it is installed perfectly, with a custom paneled and wall mounted console against the driver side wall. Inside, a dual 12volt outlet is connected via a separate fuse panel to power cell phones, laptops, and other assorted modern items.
On top of the console, assorted display items are included for your viewing pleasure. A castle that lights up, gargoyle thing, and even a glowing orb that follows your hand when you touch it. All these things will help you as you make your way from the summer of 2011 back to the summer of '76!
A Budweiser sign is carefully worked into the wall, along with a Bud bottle opener, two "candle" holders, and assorted other goodies.
The rear of the van is devoted to a custom made bed area, complete with a foam "mattress" covered with an authentic Mexican Blanket. Assorted rope lighting and silken curtains provide just the right ambiance for you to find yourself in.
Up front, a pair of bucket seats for the driver and passenger are in place on each side of the painted and upholstered engine cover.
The front of the engine cover has two custom made cup holders, controls for the windshield washer, and the control for the temprature adjustable electric fan.
Dash has fully functional factory gauges, as well as an aftermarket gauge pod that all works except for the temp gauge. It needs a sending unit. There is a fully functional temp gauge on the front of the engine bay under the lid. This thing runs as cool as it looks though, so you really don't need to worry about it too much!
Factory heater and fan still work, and it has the old fashioned 2/60 air conditioner... put the 2 windows down and drive 60! Really though, even in the Florida sun it does not get that hot. They made cars with airflow in mind back then, and with the front vents open and the windows down, you get a nice breeze from front to back.
Tilt steering column works great and is topped with an OG chrome and foam rubber wheel.
The overhead console is stuffed with an AM/FM CD player with input plug for an MP3. Everything works on it, and it sounds pretty darn good! Not going to win any sound off competitions, but plenty of sound for cruising to that new Boston album!
CB radio turns on, but I can't raise a single person on it to see if it works. Apparently the CB has gone the way of the reel to reel player! Oh well, it looks cool!
Driver side visor has a CD holder and a vanity mirror so you can check your stasche' out.
Wood trim and paneling throughout the van looks great and was done right.
Carpeting up front is deep pile house carpet, and it is in great shape. You can lift up the front leading edge and see that the floor is not only super solid, but also covered in a light soundproofing material.
All the interior lights work, and it looks sick at night with the globe and strip lights on! Party central at your local cruise night!
Overall, the interior is an all new version of a classic 70's style show van, and will not disappoint the new owner.
The van chassis was completely redone and shows almost like new from front to back! This is where the majority of the money went, and you can tell by looking, or driving it, that it was well spent!
First, a FORD 302H.O. (high output) motor was sourced from a early 90's Ford Mustang. The engine was completely stripped down, and rebuilt using all new components for the internals. Then it was cleaned and painted prior to being treated to a selection of chrome, polished aluminum, and other shiny bits so it looks good at a car show. Everything on it is about 3,500 miles old, and it has no bugs or adjustments to work out.
A regular fan as well as an aux. electric fan are installed to keep the van cool when cruising, and it really never seems to get hot at all. Sitting in beach bridge traffic for 35 minutes on a balmy Saturday afternoon produced only 100 thumbs up signs from passerby and about 1,000 cell phone pics! NO ISSUES!!!
The van starts with a turn of the factory key, idles smoothly, does not smoke, and is ready to drive whenever you are. It has not really leaked any fluid at all in my shop, and does not show signs of spraying out or anything when you look at the underside.
A C-6 Ford overdrive transmission was selected, and was cleaned and rebuilt prior to installation in the van. As I mentioned above, it is controlled by a B&M Pro ratchet shifter, and snicks into gear smoothly and surely.
Tranny does not "clunk" into any of the gears, and can be ratcheted manually with no issues as well.
It is matched to a narrowed FORD 9" rear end that has highway friendly gearing for those long hauls. The overdrive gear is so low, in fact, that the van really doesn't like to be shifted into it unless you're doing about 60 or more!
The van drives out GREAT! It cruises along like you were driving your neighbors Honda, and handles great too! Although you have to get used to being on top of the front wheels!
The entire chassis of the van was stripped, smoothed, and either painted or powdercoated during the build, and it still looks fantastic!
EVERYTHING was new just 3,500 miles ago, and that includes the brake system, wheel cylinders, lines, springs, shocks, bushings, and more! It was all NOS or completely rebuilt original components.
The pans look super solid, and are not laden with cover up spray so you can actually see that they are solid!!!
I cannot stress enough how well the van drives, stops, and handles! No funny business while you are moving. Braking is solid and sure with no pulling. Power comes on nice and steady, and is always on tap when you need a little extra for passing or showing off at a red light!
I would not hesitate to fly in and drive this van anywhere in the lower 48! It would be a road trip to remember!

The van had a full safety check done by our service center, and all fluids were checked as well.
The oil change was done just about 65 miles ago, so it is ready to just drive when you get it home!
I really cannot think of anything at all that the van would need right now. It is just a super cool example of a freshly built, and mildly hot rodded custom van that really turns heads!
