1969 Honda CB

This is a 1969 CB450 K2 I bought for my collection. It has been stored in my house and I no longer have room. This is a very nice original bike the paint has no fading the seat has no wear and is still soft other than what I have shown in the pictures the bike looks like new. I bought it from the original owner and includes the original sales receipt and warranty card and tool kit. The only thing it needed was the front forks were taken apart and the lower legs were polished and the chrome parts rechromed on the forks only. The rest of the chrome on the bike is great. The exhaust is like new not a mark on them. The wheels and spoks have no rust or pitting and the tires are original and have no cracking. All cables are original. I cleaned the carbs and replaced the fuel lines and battery. The bike starts and runs nice. This is not a bike you would want to ride, it belongs on display only, it's that nice. I have never ridden this bike. I would rank this bike as an 8 out 10 original. You may find a nicer restored bike but not an original this nice. As for the bad stuff there is not much. The tank is very nice some small pin head chips no fading as you can see in the picture. Fuel was left in the tank and leaked at the petcock and lifted the paint. I tried to have it fixed and the guy did a poor job. The good thing is the picture looks much worse then it looks in person. You don't see it unless it's pointed out. Also there is a picture of a small scratch on both side covers. I good detail shop can fix all the paint if you want but it's not needed. The seat has a small spot of red paint I have not tried to clean it, it looks like it will come off easy. The old battery was also left in the bike and leaked on the swingarm, there is some black paint damage on the tool box and swingarm also showen in a picture. I was going to remove the swingarm an repaint but don't have time. There is also some staining on the left side engine side clutch cover that needs cleaning. The shift leaver was extended for some reason and will need to be replaced. Also two small dings on front fender This is a nice original bike, finish the detail work and you have a beautiful unrestored show bike. I have no paper work for the bike other than the original paper work you see in the picture. I bought it from the wife of the original owner that past away. I will give a bill of sale.
