Vehicle Detail

1963 Plymouth Fury 6 passenger station wagon, I have owned this gem for 15 years, the car only had 70,559 miles on her when I purchased the car from the original owner, now the odometer shows 79,580 miles. I am the second owner, this car has always been garage kept. I had the car painted 15 years ago to it's original unique tutone paint scheme PM Ruby Red roof and MM Medium Beige body see broadcast sheet, as the paint was starting to chalk. The original interior is red and shows like new, see the pictures. Original polysherical 318 motor runs like new, always pampered, I am not a hot rodder, I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran that is honest and trustworthy. Automatic push button transmission, shifts as smooth as the day it left the dealership. This wagon is extremely rare, only 3,304 six passenger Fury wagons were produced by Plymouth in 1963, this car was built on Dec. 12, 1962. This equates to the lowest production Plymouth for 1963. The car is a cream puff, drives great, handles straight, has no rattles or squeaks, a very solid wagon for the family to go to cruise nights and car shows. Options on this car are: Power Brakes, Light Package, Power Seat, Power Rear Window, Rear Window Grab Handles/Rear Window Deflectors, Quarter Panel Stone Shields, Dealership installed AM/FM radio, Power Steering, MINT Deluxe Red/Creme Steering Wheel and Horn Ring and Luggage Rack. I had the clock converted to quartz movement, keeps perfect time. All gauges work, all lights work, radio sounds perfect. I put on the correct tires, 7:50 x 14 bias ply whitewall B.F. Goodrich Silvertowns. A few very minor flaws: front seat driver seat insert has a 1/4 inch tear, which is barely noticeable except to me, you might see it in the pictures. One luggage rack base post has a small stress booboo, if you weren't looking for it, you wouldn't know it was there, check out the pictures. The interior is original and is mint, people ask me," who did your interior," nobody it's original, even the door panels and perforated headliner are beautiful, it really shows well with the tutone red and beige paint. The windlace has no wear, nor does the window weatherstripping. I did order some extra Tuxedo red/black salt and pepper carpet to upgrade the cargo area. The ashtrays have never been used. I have extra parts that will go with the car, so please call me with any questions 301-464-2822, my name is Arch. My wife and I are selling our house of 30 years and moving out of state. This Fury wagon has won many awards, including national 1st place in class honors for the Plymouth Owners Club National meets. This car is ready to drive as I have only put on a few hundred miles on her the last couple years. New: Power steering hoses, Power Brake Booster, New Wheel cylinders, New brake hoses. Ignition wires, spark plugs, ignition coil, complete tune up. I did put dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers on, the tail pipes are turned correctly at a 45 degree angle, just below the rear bumper, just like a B-Body Plymouth should have in 1963. I know I have left out many things, but please call, I will answer any questions. I did have the front and rear bumpers triple chrome plated. The original stainless and chrome moldings on this car are sharp looking, really glistens in the sun. Remember, the new owner must take with them all of my spare parts I have collected over the years for the wagon. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime !
