Vehicle Detail
1986 Camaro IROC Z28, with approx 43,000 miles, Black and Gold exterior, Black interior. This IROC has a 305 TPI engine with automatic transmission, power windows/doors, rear defrost and factory AM/FM Cassette. Has new paint/decals/emblems, new Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires with polished/reconditioned wheels for a fresh look. New front suspension, brakes, tune-up, radiator/thermostat and hoses, new magnaflow exhaust and cat converter. The A/C needs to be charged but everything is there. This recently passed Texas inspection and has current plates and clear Texas title. I bought this for my 16yr old daughter's first car but she wants a truck instead....go figure. I'm selling this at no reserve, highest bidder wins this IROC Z28 Camaro. This is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied whatsoever, after all it is a 25 year old car. If your buying this from out of state and having it shipped I will help in any way I can. I work close to home so I can meet shippers at any time necessary. On Oct-17-11 at 04:14:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I am getting alot of questions so maybe I should elaborate more on the vehicle's condition: The car runs and idles good except it has a slight 2 second hesitation when reving the gas from idle when parked. I personally think the injectors need cleaned or replaced which was next on my list of things to do. Most people wouldnt notice this while driving but I want to be honest. The transmission seems fine as it shifts good thru all the gears. It has the original GM shocks and struts so it needs those replaced and a front end alignment before it should be driven any distance in my opinion. The previous owner told me he had the car stripped down to bare metal and had a base coat clear put on it last year but I have no documentation or receipt for the work performed. In my opinion its not a $6000 show car paint, more of a $3500 daily driver paint, however it does look very nice. I am not the original owner and it doesnt have the extra digit on the odometer being a 25 year old car, therefore I cannot be 100% sure on the mileage, however if you run a carfax and/or look at the free history report link on this listing the mileage of approx 43000 appears to be accurate. This is not a show car or a restored car even though it looks great and runs fine. Like any other 25 year old car it will need minor repairs, things restored etc so please dont bid on this thinking your getting a $15000 car for $4000. Any other questions please dont hesitate to ask.
