Great parts or restoration car in very good condition. Bought this car to restore but lost my job so I have to sell it. The mileage is 94,060 miles with a title branded in California but has not been in any accidents or body shops. Check out the Autocheck history provided above. According to the original owner, the car was in a minor flash flood in 1994 but you sure could not see any evidence of this occurring. There are no apparent issues with any of the advanced electrical systems as everything works. The car has newer brakes and tires, the exhaust looks great and there is no corrosion on the under side of the car. No mold or corrosion issues under the carpets etc. So, after 16 years I guess if there were any problems they would have been fixed by now. The headlights have cracks and the ash tray / glove box is missing in the console but has been replaced with a metal piece. The hood and trunk struts were just replaced with new ones and the electrical release for the trunk and gas cap work. We put a new battery in the car and it starts right up and runs great. Very strong mechanically as the drive train is excellent. This is the reason we purchased the car - the rest is cosmetic. Other items we know that need to be repaired are the soft top pull down motor (not unusual and replacements are available plus we have the hard top on the car now), the dash pad, drivers seat has significant wear and there are a few scratches in the paint from the previous owner storing it in his garage under boxes and bicycles etc. There is a message which can be easily resolved, we just have not taken the time or money to get it fixed - AC needs to be recharged. The radio works intermittently (must be a loose wire) and the interior fan does not work (probably a fuse). I am sure there are other issues but these are the ones I know about. This is a low priced car so don't expect everything to be perfect. We have a matching hard top on the car and have priced the car with the hard top (valued at $1300) for $3500 OBO.
