Vehicle Detail
1966 Ford Mustang Coupe No Reserve - If anybody bids, somebody buys! This is one fine driver that has been skillfully restored and is turn-key ready to reward the winning bidder with years of trouble free driving fun and enjoyment. It gets a lot of attention at cruise-ins. The classy color scheme and original restoration make it a real head-turning stand-out. 93,387 Miles Wimbledon White, Red Interior 289 Engine, 2 Barrel Carburetor C4 Automatic Transmission Factory AC Factory Power Steering This auction is for a beautifully restored, 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe with 289 V-8 engine, factory automatic transmission, factory power steering and factory AC. The restoration was respectful to car’s unmolested state, paying homage to the car’s original factory options and color combination. The engine fires right up, runs clean, dry, and smooth, with no knocks or smoke. Smooth-shifting transmission has been re-built and the steering mechanism is easy and solid, so it drives like new. Speaking of new, there's lots of new stuff on this car. We've invested a lot of time and money in the restoration, and it is being offered for much less than we have invested. If you want a vintage driver that turns heads where ever you go, this is a great deal for your money. Restorations include: Exterior New Wimbledon White basecoat/clear coat paint (factory original color) Hood, trunk lid, doors, fenders and all glass items were removed and thoroughly inspected prior to painting. All problem areas were cut out and replaced with new panels. New cowl, hood, lower quarter panels, gas tank New radiator, battery box New tires Rebuilt transmission Rebuilt suspension, including breaks, bushings, shocks, axle bearings New bumpers, bumper guards and brackets, tail lights, turn signals, break lights, back up lights New windshield glass, exterior door handles, gas cap and chrome cove trim All new weather stripping around door, hood, trunk and door whiskers, windshield and back glass rubber molding Interior New seat foam and seat covers Seat frames were stripped, media blasted and painted prior to re-covering New carpet pad and carpet New headliner, rear shelf board, trunk separator, dash, New heater box and core, blower motor, fresh air vent, defroster box and vent hoses New door panels, arm rests, window cranks, door handles New steering wheel and horn button, front- and rear seatbelts and seat backs New sun visors, coat hooks, speaker, antenna, To my knowledge, all this car needs is a radio re-build (original works, but not well) AC condenser, and tail pipe. Note: This is a Georgia car. The state of Georgia does not require titles on cars over 30 years old, therefore car is sold with bill of sale, signed copy of clean police history and signed registration. This car is being offered with no reserve and the starting bid is far below the money invested in it. Although I have done my best to describe this car fairly and accurately as possible, it is a 45-year old antique automobile, so it is being offered as is, with no warranties- express or implied. Pre-bidding inspections are welcomed and bidders are encouraged to contact me with questions and requests for additional information. Delivery arrangements are available- please contact me for details. A deposit of $1000 is required via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. Remaining balance paid via secure bank wire transfer is due within seven days. Thank for looking and good luck bidding!
