Vehicle Detail
1972 Volvo 1800ES - Parts (or project car - but no title) with many healthy, rare and desirable parts. Engine turns over, transmission probably ok, nice seats, door panels, bumpers and much more. Rare factory A/C! Hello eBayers, I know there is a lot of writing and info here, but please take the time to read it. I have always given an in-depth description of the cars I sell on eBay. I find that buyer appreciate this. If there is something I haven't covered, please let me know and contact me. Ok then, you are bidding on one of the toys in my collection that I need to thin out. I'm a car fanatic, and love oddball 60s 70s and 80s cars. I have sold several of my cars through eBay, all with positive feedback. These include several Mercedes 300 Diesels, a VW Westfalia, a v12 Jaguar convertible, a Datsun Fairlady Roadster, a Volvo 262 Bertone, and some others. You can be certain you are getting all the info that I have on the car you are bidding on, and I disclose everything to the best of my knowledge. The good, the neutral, the things that may need help, the history, it is all here, nothing is being hidden or not disclosed. If there is something that you would like to know, please send me an email and if you need to speak further, I'll be glad to take a call or contact you. I would like to add, please bid only if you absolutely intend to follow through. As you may know, eBay ads cost money, $120 to be exact. She is worth every penny. The car is listed to the best of my knowledge and experience in ownership, and honesty is key for me. Please be willing to follow through when bidding. Everyone likes a person of their word! The cut and dry: This Volvo is intended for sale as a parts car, simply because there is no title to accompany this vehicle. It was bought from a gentleman here in Austin as a parts car for my other Volvos, but I have never removed or used a single part to date. Car is as complete as the day I bought it. The only things I see missing are one of the gauges on the cluster and the radio. Other than those items, the car is virtually complete and with a little TLC, she should start up. I was told that the car was running when parked. The engine turns over very easily, but I have never actually started it. Please consider this car for the many nice parts it has. With the price of metal nowadays, I could easily salvage this car and sell the parts individually for much more, but being a Volvo guy myself, I was hoping one of you fellow Volvo nuts would see the potential in this car. She can easily be used to keep a similar p1800 or 1800es running for years and years to come. As we all know, these pushrod engines are truly bulletproof and the factory A/C unit is sought after and rare. Seats and other interior parts are in very nice shape. I don't see any rust on the body sheetmetal, and the rear bumper is in excellent shape. I will require a $200 deposit, sent to PayPal, within 12 hours of auction close, and the remainder within 3 days, in cash, or a cashier's check that I can clear at a local bank on the day of pickup. If you need other arrangements, please contact me first. Please honor your bid, I have put a lot of time into this ad, and for someone to just back out is very unfair. Please let me know your intentions if you have zero feedback, or I may cancel your bids. I'm sorry, I've just had bad experiences in the past with bidders with zero or negative feedback.
