About the Car: I am the original owner of this car, I purchased it new, and have babied it since. I have offered it for sale on Ebay before, and it has been "sold", however the buyers have (a) not been able to get financing or (b) want to do a payment plan with me. I am looking for an outright sale. The car is a 2002.5 VW Jetta 1.8T (AWP engine code), Galatic Blue with Black Leather and with the following changes: 58,000 miles, all oil changes with Amsoil synthetic. Next oil change needed at 63k miles ECU has been updated with APR software, providing more HP and Torque with no additional stress on the turbocharger - see www.goapr.com for the tuning capabilities. Suspension has been updated to Bilstein shocks and Neuspeed springs. H&R 28mm rear sway bar. In the last few weeks, I've noticed that the H&R sway links were looking worn, I've replaced them with the Neuspeed links, as the rubber is thicker and better for the hot TX climates. After replacement, I've noticed some squeaks, but have been told this is normal and to be expected as the new rubber needs to settle. Wheels are 19 inch Falken Koblenz with General Summer tires. Thread remaining is around 70%. The rims have curb rash. I have a 5th rim which I will include as a spare. The original Monsoon stereo system has been updated with an Alpine CDA CD Receiver, CD Changer, Alpine Amp. I've added an Autometer Carbon Fiber Boost Guage, which is located below the stereo. Why am I selling? I've been looking for a new project for the past 6 months - hence why earlier I've posted this car for sale as a feeler. Well, I found my project, and now I don't have the garage space for this car - if I did, I would have kept this in a heartbeat. I've babied this car, its been maintained very well with only top of the line parts, some examples: Original wiper blades have been replaced with Bosch Icons Original battery was replaced with an Optima Yellow Top last year Original spark plugs replaced with NGK ones. I've listed this car for sale locally as well. I hope this car goes to a great home and will be treated well.
