1990 Honda Gold Wing

The engine is from a '91 Goldwing. The forks were rebuilt last season and are air over oil. The bike runs very well and handles nice too. I replaced the lifters on the left side, however the valve lash could use some adjusting. Doesn't seem to make a difference in performance, just a slight tick. Timing belts were replaced 2 years ago. Tires are in descent shape. The odometer reads 134,000ish, however, this is not the original odometer. I was told at the time of purchase (and it was written on the air box) that it had 59,000 miles on it. I’ve ridden a few miles since. Overall condition of the bike is very good. Needs a good bath. I wanted a paint job with little annual labor, so I went with 2 colors of Rustoleum’s Hammered paint. Nice finish (I get compliments often). Shiny stuff is shiny. There are some minor dings and such, nothing big. There is a small crack on the one side panel near the seat. Not really noticeable though. The nice thing about the Hammered paint is it’s very easy to touch up. The seat has a driver's backrest. I replaced the radio with a different style that plays MP3s and added a booster amp. One of the rear speakers needs attention. I replaced the fronts with better quality speakers. The display was damaged and has been blacked out. Everything else does what it should. I rode it a couple times early in the season and started it a few times over the remainder of the summer to keep the battery up and motor seals happy. Battery is 2 ½ years old (stored indoor and charged in the winter). This has been a very good, reliable bike for me and I have every reason to expect it to continue to be. Main reason for selling is I have a very arthritic shoulder and it kills me to ride anymore. Service manual goes with it. There is no reserve on this auction. Any questions, please ask now. The side emblems are non existent and the right passenger compartment door is missing. We always used it as a drink holder, so I never missed it. :)
