Looks, runs and drives great. Repainted in original President Red and completely reupholstered last summer. New heavy duty clutch and 1-year-old heavy duty radiator. Manual 3-speed shifting on the floor. Low gearing, solid steel construction, and aggressive new winter tires, make this Wagoneer virtually unstoppable. A very reliable, straight and smooth driver. Excellent Sunday driver or Hollywood film prop. Dash lights, guages and wipers have been intermittent lately. Several door and window levers need repair. No A/C. Very small area (1/2" x 3") area of minor rust on tailgate. I would give this Wagoneer a "7" on a scale of 1-10, but it wouldn't take too much to restore it to a "9" or "10" (likely valued at $20k - $30k). 1963 was the first ever model year for the Wagoneer. No record of the number built or still in existence is available. Watch for Jeep to launch a 50th Anniversary Wagoneer model next year (2013 model year), raising the profile of this classic Jeep. You won't see a nicer '63 Wagoneer on the road - if you see one at all. Extremely rare, attention grabbing vehicle. Enjoy seeing people of all ages smile, wave and "thumbs up" everywhere you go in this classic. In all of my research, I've only seen current photos of 2 of these historic vehicles on the Internet.
