I believe I am the third WI. owner of this beauty that came out of Texas and was last registered there in 1987. This is a very original 1955 Commander 2 DR. hardtop coupe. Floors ,frame , and trunk are in excellent condition. Bearcat V8 runs as smooth as when it came off the showroom floor. Brakes and optional automatic transmission are good. Shifting was a little delayed after sitting when I first got in , but seems to be straightening out. Was on the hwy the other day at 65mph and it cruised. Small rust spot at bottom of front fender. Also has a couple of small creases on each side of vehicle that have not affected paint. Car is very straight and solid. New battery, rebuilt starter. and tires are very good, as is exhaust. Chrome, glass, and stainless are excellent. Interior is very good except for front seat and carpet is showing its age. Low reserve , and please do not ask. This car will sell and you would be hard pressed to find one this solid and original that you can drive down the road.
