Vehicle Detail

Hey everyone! I’m selling a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with the well-known 3800 V6 in it (209k miles). I took this in from my brother in law on a partial trade for my boat a couple weeks back. I don’t need the car, so I’m offering this gem up for sale. It’s got higher miles on it, but they are well cared for. The car’s had all the up to date maintenance performed, and is ready to go. I just had the oil changed, tires replaced, and all 4 rotors/pads replaced. After all of that, I think this car is fully prepared for its next owner. The only cosmetic thing that will probably bug some people is the rims have seen better days in their lifetime. I’ve done my best on cleaning them up, but they still have a few spots of rust and chips. (I'm very picky). I guess this is to be expected for a car under 3k. It does have a few idiot lights on; the Service Engine Soon light is on, not sure why, it runs perfect with 0 problems. Also, when I had the tires replaced, the "Check Tire Pressure" light popped on. I've read on Pontiac forums to just hit the reset button in the fuse box and it will clear that light. (I've yet to have time to mess with that; I'm a very busy person). Options include: drivers power seat, cloth interior, cruise control, active traction control for winter, Viper Alarm system (done the right way) and rear tinted windows. It’s also got a professionally installed CD player and brand new front speakers in the doors - (all Pioneer – brand new) After all the new things I’ve put on the car in the last 2 weeks, it cost me $1000 bucks. So, I think my asking price is more than fair. The body of the car is extremely shiny and clean for being a 14 year old car. You won’t be disappointed. This car requires nothing to drive another 100k miles. This is a must sell sale, I need the money from this car to book my wife and I’s trip to see family in Atlanta at the end of October. Thanks for your interest!!! I'd like to get $2800 for the car, considering it's shape and recent additions. 269-986-3430 – Mitchell (serious inquiries ONLY please!!) I expect full payment within 48 hours, unless otherwise discussed and agreed upon via phone. The car is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to sell it before auction end; Also, please don’t call me and say you’re coming out to look at it, and then don’t show up. Please don’t waste my time. Thank you!!!On Oct-03-11 at 09:56:52 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a NO RESERVE auction!! What it sells for, is what it sells for. Thanks everyone!
