The car is a original 5.0L, 5 speed car (has the pedals and clutch cable) with a factory posi rear. It is a 5.0L GS which is equivalent to a 5.0L LX mustang. It was last registered in '09. This car has not been molested and a perfect foundation for any type of build. Sombody before me put an AOD automatic in the car in place of the stick and simply bolted a factory auto shifter over the 5 speed hole. Right now the car is sitting as a roller on 4 space savers. This car is a project car that needs to be repainted as the the current paint is weathered and worn. The body is very straight, no dents, the body panels are solid, no 1/4 panel rot or anything like that. At worst a spot of surface rust here or there. All the glass is good and all the trim is present. I didn't get to far into the project but the floors appear solid, there is rust on the inside of the bottom of the doors as usual. However, all the capri specific pieces are in great shape. The bumper covers are not cracked or torn, the grille, lights and bezels are all present and usable, the hood is good and bubble back hatch is not trashed. The interior is light blue and needs typical work for an 83. The headliner cloth is gone as usual, its got the overhead console. I have a brand new carpet. Seats are not garbage but not perfect either, dash pad is very nice and not cracked. This car does not have a motor but comes with the AOD tranny (not installed) and associated parts (driveshaft, cross member etc.) that were on it when I bought it. I also have the engine accessories that I kept when I removed the motor (distributor, alternator brackets etc.) It also comes with a flow master cat back exhaust with ss tips.with tails. Also have a couple of radiators. Lastly is a small collection of new parts that came with the car like new rear shocks and brake parts. I also have all the hardware and harnesses that I tucked away when I pulled the original 5.0L motor. I do have the Connecticut title for the car. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
