1968 Oldsmobile 442 Current Engine is a 70's Pontiac 400, with Quadrajet 4 Barrel Runs on unleaded 87 1984 Metric Oldsmobile 3 speed automatic Rear differential is out of a 68 Buick Skylark (2.56 gear ratio) non-posi 15 inch Oldsmobile Factory Mag wheels (full set, images show PMD wheels on front) Turns heads, and lures compliments wherever it goes. I Got the car 12 years ago. Initially, I was planning to restore it for a daily driver. I drive 55 miles roundtrip to work, which is why i tried to "tame it down" a little by reducing the rear gear ratio. When I got the car it had no heater, manual steering box, and manual brakes. I purchased a donor car, and installed power steering, power brakes, wiper motor, new rotor, and other misc parts. body isn't perfect, but it's rock solid for a 45 year old car. I've only driven it about 1000 miles since I purchased it. Bidding starts at $3000 I also have a 1971 Olds 350 Rocket engine that could go with the car for an extra $300 Also, a freshly rebuilt Muncie M21 wide ratio 4 speed (never installed) with Hurst 442 shifter for an extra $1000.
