Vehicle Detail
Meticulous care ... the car has never even been driven in rain once. Heated-garage stored. This car was purchased new by myself 1/10/09. Carefully broken in per Chuck Tater’s instruction, Zero abuse (including no tracking, and no racing), etc. Completely original, None / never damaged whatsoever - including no marks on rear diffuser, nor under front fascia. I am selling because I am very busy and have no time for car but it is indeed incredible. One cannot surpass this car's total attributes, let alone for the money. ZERO things have ever gone wrong with this car / or have needed warranty work for. 600 HP. 560 ft lbs torque.Brembo brakes. The New Tremec TR6060 6-speed trans. 200 MPH top speed. Variable-valve timing, electronic throttle. The new deeper-louvered hood. Gen 4's are light years better than previous Vipers. This is the biggest bang for the money of any sports car. It can be driven daily, quietly if wanted, & smooth...like any sophisticated European sports car priced 3X higher. And it will still whip near any other sports car even on a curvy road (The 2008 Viper is the production lap record holder at the Nurburgring, defeating the: Corvette Z06, Ford GT, Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche GT3, & Audi R8). Car was hand-built at the Conner Avenue assembly plant in Detroit, MIchigan. The last real "driver's cars" that will ever be made (a manual, vs paddle-click shift car). I have owned two other Gen 3's and driven many Gen 4's - this is THE best running one I have ever driven and has proven to be tremendously reliable / great-craftsmanship. If you are in the market, this is the best '08 Viper convertible out there. See for yourself. Located 35 miles east of Columbus, Ohio - but can be delivered anywhere down the I-95 corridor all the way to Miami, FL. (740) 403-1178 for text / call - rjklein@roadrunner.com - Ron On Oct-02-11 at 14:43:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Last line should have read: "... but can be delivered anywhere south of there down the I-95 corridor all the way to Miami, FL".On Oct-02-11 at 15:21:00 PDT, seller added the following information: Was just asked a few questions via direct email, which perhaps should be answered here. First of all, the car is in central, Ohio - per the ad. One pic of driver's seat shows a couple of indents that are not present. I have no idea why those were there in the pic and can guarantee that the seat is perfect. Also he asked about the tire wear. The tires look brand new tread-wise - I have not spun the tires on the car and it has but 4700 miles on them. Finally he asked about accidents / is it a "no problem" vehicle. Again per the ad, this car has never even had a loose knob on it, let alone an accident. He mentioned running an Auto Check, but it already provided.
