Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I am selling a 2004 Mellow Yellow MINI Cooper S, 6-speed manual, with 1.6L Supercharged I4 engine and low mileage (87,000 miles). This car is a blast to drive with its quick acceleration, tight handling, surprisingly roomy interior, and excellent fuel economy at over 30 miles per gallon (for me 29mpg city and 36mpg highway – less if you are a lead foot). This car does have a rebuilt title, but it is in running condition with all cosmetic damages repaired. As mentioned, The Mini is in great cosmetic condition with no structural damage. The engine starts on first try and runs. However, the idle is a little low and the car is currently running on two cylinders. The mechanic originally thought it was a corroded ignition coil which he replaced, but it turns out that it is something electrical downstream. It could just be a corroded wire or it could be an electrical component. The mechanic has offered to buy my vehicle if it does not sell on eBay (he is an Import specialist). This would be an ideal situation for someone with the know-how to get a cheap Mini Coop or to fix and sell the Coop for a good profit (Kelley Blue Book on an '04 Mini Cooper S is more than $11,000!! ) It also makes noise when making tight turns. The only other issue that I can think of is that the passenger door is difficult to open. Also, as a few people have asked: the driver's seat belt works as it should it is just missing the plastic casing that goes around it. Please see my feedback to see that I am honest in all my dealings and to attempt to disclose as much as possible. However, with all used cars it is impossible to know everything about a car even when you do as much as you can to inspect the car yourself and bring it into the mechanics for a professional inspection. So as with all used cars, this car is sold as-is, but you are more than welcome to come to inspect it for yourself.
