This was the last year of production for this model. This 280SL is in good condition for its age. Right now it’s a Non-Op car. The car wasn’t started for the past year. The interior is very clean as well as the convertible soft-top, all of the hard-top to soft-top mechanical mechanisms work. There are no rips or tears in the soft-top--as you can see from the photos. The paint is in decent condition. It needs a good wax and buff. The chrome is in very good condition, all of the pieces are original. The matching/original hardtop is included in this sale. If you are looking for a 100% Show-car, this is NOT the car. If you are looking for a very nice daily driver this could be your car with a bit of mechanical work.
