FOR SALE: 1997 Audi A4 2.8 Quatto Sedan Single Owner (me) Great for gearheads, parts or your first car. ONE OWNER! Just purchased a new one and am selling the old one. Purchased new in late November, 1996. No accidents. Garaged nightly for 10+ years. Please note that the car's ORIGINAL rims ARE INCLUDED with the car!!! BIDDER MUST PICK UP VEHICLE!! Seller not responsible for shipping/transport. Car was in continuous use until Sept 2011 (when I purchased the new Audi). All parts in working order (windows, sunroof, transmission, heat, AC, Power steering, cig lighter, heated seats, etc., Etc.). Car was well maintained and garaged nightly. No rust or faded paint. Photos are of the car *without* wax. Although there are no dents on the car, there are miscelaneous car door dings typical of a vehicle of this age. If you're looking for a good first car w/ class or a fixer-upper for resale, this is it. Here's the details: Tires are a few months old, however the rims are a little dingy. For this reason, I'm including the old rims w/ the car. Headlight bulbs were replaced this spring. Bumpers have been repainted due to road hazards/debris and people who don't know what a stop sign is. Car has several dash lights that have gone out. One brake light bulb went out a month ago (contains 3 per side). Drivers floor mat is needed. A long hole in the driver's seat bolster needs repair. The ABS needs a speed sensor replaced on one rear wheel. I *think* an O2 sensor needs replacement (check engine light). Shocks & stuts are original and also need replacement (squeaky over bumps). Steering pump works fine, but is noisy when fully turned and needs to be topped off every once in a while. Clutch is still going strong. CV joints and boots were fine when the car was last checked. For those who know the model: The timing belt was replaced once (about 120K). I did have the drive shaft replaced 2 years ago when the support bearing was worn. Also, both rear wheel bearings were replaced about 5 years ago. So the drive train and ride is very smooth and quiet with no leaks in the rear differential.
