You are bidding on a 1964 Chevrolet C60 with a 12' flatbed dump . 6 cylinder ( 292 ci ) 4 speed with a 2 speed rear end. I have used this truck for the last year for clean up and maintenance on my property in western NC and it has served my purposes well. I moved 3 tons of stone for my drive 2 weeks ago and then last week I drove the truck 200 miles to my business in Mattthews, NC where it is now. This is a solid working truck but it is 47 years old and not perfect. Solid rust free cab. Steering is tight and in good shape. Just driven 200 miles at roughly ( speedometer does not work ) 55 mph and it tracks great. Starts easily and shifts smoothly. 2 speed works correctly. Fuel , oil and temp guages work. Speedometer and ammeter do not. 12Volt and has been converted to alternator. Radiator does not leak. Dump lifts and works correctly. The rear tires are virtually new. The front are in good condition. Doors and windows work correctly but the glass in the passenger side widow is broken. I have a replacement window that is not installed but will be included. Vent windows work but the locks are broken. Brakes work and stop the truck fine but occasionally the right rear is slow to release ( return spring ? rust? ). Firm pedal. Parking brake is good. Paint is solid but faded. Small oil leaks and seeps as you would expect for a 47 year old truck but none are major. In short a solid classic vehicle that is still capable of a good day's work. \ Winning bidder to pay a $500 deposit via Paypal withen 48 hours of auction's end. Balance to be paid in cash at the time of pickup. Mileage shown is a meaningless number . Odometer does not work but Ebay does not understsand the concept of the word " unknown ". Clear NC title. Currently tagged , insured and roadworthy.
