This car can be also be viewed on its dedicated website www.SuperchargedCorvette.com There you will find high resolution pictures, video, dyno sheet, certified appraisal, Q&A, and contact info. The car is also listed in this month's issue of the duPont Registry both in print and online at www.duPontRegistry.com The certified replacement value appraisal places a value of $134,300 on the car. This is the total cost of exactly duplicating the vehicle. If you wanted to build this exact car from scratch, from purchasing the "base" vehicle, to obtaining all of the additional aftermarket and specialty components, along with all labor costs, this is what it would cost you. This does not take into consideration the build time it would take to build this vehicle, which for me, it took close to 2 years to get just right. You can view this document here: Replacement Value Appraisal The official 35 page certified appraisal that values the car at a fair market value of $110,000 can be downloaded and viewed at the following link: Fair Market Value Appraisal Use this document if you intend to obtain financing for the purchase of this vehicle. If you are looking for financing, I would recommend J.J. Best Banc & Co and Woodside Credit for companies that lend on specialty cars and offer competitive fixed rates and terms of up to 12 years. This supercar was built and maintained by one of the best shops in the country - Dallas Performance. It is 100% street legal and has inspection stickers and registration. It can be daily driven or taken to the track. It has under 5900 miles on the car, and even fewer on the new forged engine and additional mods. It has never been taken to the track and was garaged at all times, never once being taken out into the rain. I have put close to $100k into this car (this does NOT include the purchase price of the car), and I have all the receipts. This car will beat any stock street car to include a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar, Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes, and yes... both the Corvette Z06 and ZR1. It will break 200mph in under a mile, has a top speed of near 250mph, and will go 0-60 in 2.x seconds. The car puts down 936rwhp (rear wheel horse power) and 932rwtq (rear wheel torque) and has no problems with traction due to the wide sticky street legal 345/30/19 tires and first of its kind boost by gear system for centrifugal superchargers. The feeling you get when you mash the pedal is unbelievable and something that can only be experienced first hand. Many passengers have screamed, cried, and thanked me for the experience. ALWAYS warn them before getting on the gas! The car puts out over 1000HP from the engine. It puts down 936rwhp and 932rwtq to the tires. You can see the dyno sheet in the picture section for proof of power. It will throw you to the back of your seat and keep you there! The G-Force is incredible, the sound amazing, and the sight unbelievable as the dashed white lines on the highway lanes become one long solid white line. It is plain and simple - sensory overload. I cannot tell you the number of times I've come out of a movie or dinner and someone has been taking pictures of my car. I can even be driving down the street and people will roll down their windows and pull out their camera phones to take a picture. Watch the people stand around as the valet driver pulls the car up. They all drop their jaws at the car and then look around to see who the car could possibly belong to. I've witnessed people standing still at a green light because they can't keep their eyes off the car. There's thumbs up, honking, and flat out yelling out the window "NICE CAR!" The pictures don't do this car justice. It's something you have to see and hear in person to understand. The car turns so many heads, so I hope you like the attention! And one last note: The transparent targa top does come off, so if you like the open air feel, enjoy! It's a whole different experience in a performance car, and it's something you can't get with a zr1 or z06, or many other supercars for that matter! Due to the one of a kind nature of this car and the price that accompanies it, Dallas Performance has agreed to act as a financial intermediary in the transaction. At the buyer's discretion, they may make the cashiers check or bank wire payable to a legal business entity - Dallas Performance. There will be no charge to the buyer for this service. The funds will not be released until the car has been shipped and/or is in the buyers possession. The car is being held indoors at Dallas Performance and will remain undriven until it is sold. I love this car and hate to sell it, but I'm getting married and starting a family, and this car has no place for me at this point in my life. I hope this car goes to someone that loves it as much as I do. The long list of modifications to the car are listed below. I'm sure I've missed some things and will update the list as I think of them. There are a couple short YouTube videos of the car that you can view here: Corvette Videos Thanks for looking. Since most people looking at this car are deciding between a zr1 and this one, I thought a chart would help show some of the differences. Questions from other members: Q: Sir, I just have to say, you have impeccable taste in your ride and performance upgrades. This has to be, the most sweetest Vette I have ever seen. Alas, if I could, I'd bring your money in fresh 1000 dollar bills. Good luck with the sale, and with your new family. Ron A: Thanks Ron. It is not easy letting this car go. I only hope someone will get as much enjoyment out of it as I did. Tony Q: Your probably going to laugh but its just a Gee-whiz question. What kind of gas milage do you get in this beast and will it run on 91 octane. A: Good question. Gas mileage is probably around 12mpg....sometimes more, sometimes less depending on how hard you are driving it. I'd like to think that it does pretty good considering the power it puts out. The Corvette is already a very efficient sports car. As for running on 91 octane: I would not do it without a new tune. It was tune to run on 93 octane and methanol. The car needs as much octane as possible to put down the HP numbers you see. But yes, if you have it retuned to use 91 octane, it will run just fine, but the HP will decrease a bit. Q: Hi So is this a regular vet that you just put loads of money into? Or is a z06 or the zr1 ? A: This is a c6 coupe that I drove for 2 months, put less than 6k miles on, and then dropped it off at Dallas Performance, spent the next 2 years engineering and building the car and tweaking it to get everything just right; picking out at least $80k worth of Z06, ZR1, and other specialty aftermarket parts (some of which had to be fabricated specifically for my car) for a one of a kind build that you will see nowhere else in the world. :) Q: I just wanted to commend you on the way you have answered all these questions. It's very rare to see someone approach them with such politeness. You have indeed built a beautiful car, hands down one of my favorite corvettes. Good luck with the sale and the family. Garrett A: I appreciate the kind words! Q: what type fuel pump /s do u have to handle that much hp?? very nice vette.....Greg A: There isn't just a boost or pump or anything simple. There is a completely new fuel system that was installed to handle the 1000hp. For details on the custom system, contact Taylor Sims at Dallas Performance. 214-349-1300 Thanks Q: so what happens if the meth kit runs dry during a race? Also how does the body of this car differ form a z06? (not necessarily the panels but thinks like the engine cradle) A: If the meth runs dry during a race the car will pull timing and will feel slower. It is not designed to run without meth however. Meth is not like nitrous and is going to last you quite a bit longer. The windshield wiper tank was converted to the meth tank, so when you are running low on meth, the "add windshield washer fluid" light will show up on the dash. If you are driving long distances and you run low, you can pull into any walmart and buy a product called HEET. It is basically pure methanol and a convenient source of fuel while traveling. The biggest difference in the body is the frame. The Z06 has an aluminum frame and a magnesium engine cradle. It also has a dry sump oil system. The front fenders are also carbon fiber. Those are the main differences. The rest of the parts have either been upgraded to ZR1 parts, or even better aftermarket parts where GM doesn't make something strong enough to support 1000hp. Q: How much does the car weigh? Also is the meth kit needed to make those numbers? How does the car do in traffic? Do you mind sharing the approximate 1\4 times? A: I've never weighed the car since the completion of the build. A stock C6 weights about 3200lbs. With the additional forged engine and supercharger weight, the car probably adds a couple hundred pounds. The car is also lightened a bit with the carbon fiber hood. The meth kit is needed to make those numbers. As you approach the 1000hp mark, you need as much octane as you can get, and the cool charge that methanol provides is needed. The windshield wiper fluid container was converted to the meth injection, so it is very easy to fill the tank with methanol. How does the car do in traffic? Well...any manual car is horrible in traffic in my opinion. But I believe the RPS triple carbon clutch ($3k) really provides a good clutch slip for stop and go. Is a 1000hp car ideal for traffic? Probably not. But it's not much worse than the manual truck I drive around. As for the 1/4 mile times....I've never tracked the car. Similar corvettes with about 1000hp run low to mid 9s at around 150mph. Keep in mind that these are good drivers and they are running different tires. Q: sorry if this is an ignorant question but im not familiar with this kind of power. can the car be driven daily or does it require continuous maintenance? A: Not an ignorant question. I built the car to be a daily driver. I eventually bought another car with a back seat for the kids though. Besides the typical oil change for the engine and supercharger and refilling the methanol tank, there isn't much else to do. Treat it like any other car, but if you are going to drive it hard often, the frequency of maintenance will obviously increase. Q: is the car a z06, a grandsport, or a ZR! A: The car is a C6 with parts from all 3 cars. I've taken what I have felt is the best of the Corvette family and also added better aftermarket parts where GM does not make what is necessary to support 1000HP. It has the full Grand Sport body. It has the ZR1 driveline (transmission and differential), and it has the Z06 brakes. The Z06 and ZR1 do not have a removable top, this car does. That's a big plus for many. Many believe the Z06 ls7 engine is not the engine of choice to supercharge and add large amounts of PSI. The ZR1 already has a supercharger, but it only puts down about 600hp to the wheels. So to match this car, you would need to remove that supercharger and add a larger one. This build was planned out well in advance and no expense was spared and I tried to make no compromises. Thanks for looking. Q: Your family is very lucky to have you. If it was me, I would have chosen the corvette. (kidding of course) Lots of Luck with the sale and new family. A: Haha. Thanks. If they could ride in the front seat it may be a different story! Q: I sold my 08 zo6,in order to buy a zr1.After seeing this beautifull machine, its better than a zr1,i have the cash to buy it.This car is capable of way over 200mph.will the Targa top stay on at this kind of speed?Have you done any suspension upgrades to handle, extra hp.?Thanks Scot 808.277.1294 A: Hey Scot, I believe it's better than a zr1 too, but that all depends on the person. The car is solid and can handle 200mph. It was built for the Texas Mile, and there are no weak links on the car. It has the zr1 transmission with hardened mainshaft and also the zr1 differential with hardened output shafts. It also has DSS 1000HP axles. Adjustable PFADT coilovers also sit on all 4 corners. The targa top will stay on for sure. Corvettes have gone much faster with no issues at the Texas Mile. I also have the solid targa top that would go with the car to whomever buys it. Thanks Tony 214-207-4143 Q: The car has ac?The car horsepower can 1000hp?Thanks. A: The car has cold AC and all working accessories. No comfort accessory or any for that matter were removed in the building of this car. The car makes well over 1000HP to the crank. But 935rwhp to the wheels. It is capable of breaking 1000rwhp possibly with a new CPU module and some other modifications, but trust me, 935rwhp is ALOT and more than most people can handle, but I understand the appeal of hitting the nice round number of 1000.
