Relisted after EBAY stopped my listing due to an "inappropriate" link SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!!!! DON’T BID IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO BUY!!!! DON’T WASTE MY TIME OR YOURS………. This auction is for my 1974 Chevy Laguna S-3. This S3 is the same body style as the Chevelle, Malibu or SuperSport Super Sport SS body style of that year, and similar to 73 1973 75 1975 76 1976 77 1977 bodies. I saved this car from the crusher with the intent to restore and have been collecting parts over the past few years. But my plans have changed so I am now putting this car up for sale. MY HOPE IS TO SELL THIS CAR COMPLETE WITH ALL THE PARTS. BUT IF AFTER I LIST THIS CAR A COUPLE TIMES AND IT DOES NOT MEET MY RESERVE, I WILL PART THIS CAR OUT!!!! I have collected many good parts over the years so keep an eye on this car. THE 15x8 CORVETTE RALLEY WHEELS WILL NOT COME WITH THE CAR- a set of rollers will be installed for delivery. So again, this auction is for a 1974 Chevrolet Laguna S-3. It is a running, driving project car. It has a strong running era correct 454 cubic inch engine from a ’73 Monte Carlo. Email me for an internet link to a video of the engine running (keep in mind the exhaust has been cut off behind the glasspacks): All the original smog equipment is on the engine. The cross braces normally found in the engine compartment of the G-3 Chevelles are not installed but included (see last picture). It also has a 3 speed automatic transmission, which does leak. The brakes need to be bled and the power steering pump also leaks. It would not take much to get this car road worthy though. Mileage is 98,398- I cannot say whether the mileage is actual. I have left the car as original as possible for the new owner- meaning I haven’t replaced the original dented fender or rear tail panel (nice replacements are included in the auction- see last picture). Clear California title in my name, complete with a blue 70’s style front license plate. It has had an amateur rust repair on the roof- this was a vinyl top car. The vinyl top was removed and many areas of rust damage were repaired. It is now what I would say is 99% rust free!!! After repair, the top was primed, bondo’d as needed and rattle spray can painted in white. I got a little crazy with the spray and there are some runs!! The new owner would need to do the finish body work to make everything smooth and straight. The body of this car is in great condition and is absolutely RUST FREE- the driver's fender is perfect, driver's door is perfect, BOTH quarters are perfect. The passenger quarter has a minor scrape in front of the wheel well which continues onto the door. The passenger door has what looks like a bullet hole from a previous owner! The front passenger floor pan was repaired with a patch, and followed up with lots of POR seam sealer. Front driver's floor pan is very solid, both rear floor pans and seat pans are very solid- maybe some minor surface rust. Trunk pan is in GREAT shape. The passenger side front fender is mangled. A nice replacement is included from a slope nose S-3 I parted in the past (see last picture) . The rear tail panel is also broken, on both sides. A nice replacement is included as well (see last picture). A nice replacement tail light lense is also included (see last picture). Rear quarter marker lights and trim from another car are included (see last picture). The nose piece is in nice condition with no dents or warps- just faded & cracked paint. The rear bumper is nice, as is the plastic insert piece that goes between the bumper and the rear panel- these are usually broken or bent! I also have a set of quarter window louvers that can come with the car for an agreed upon price. The front windshield is damaged from sap or something from a tree in my backyard. A nice replacement is included (see last picture). The rear windshield comes with the car but is not permanently installed. All window trim, although not shown in pix, is included and all there (see last picture). I personally found the build sheet under the carpet, which is included. It is however in very rough shape. The car was built in the Fremont, CA plant. The cowl tag is also present and reads as follows: ST 74 1AE37 Z 247847 BDY (74- model year, 1AE37- Laguna S3 coupe, Z- Fremont plant, 247847- plant sequence #) TR 731 AN7 69 R PNT (731- medium saddle cloth bucket seats, AN7- swivel buckets, 69-dark taupe metallic, R-?) 07B 247847 012171 (07B- 2nd week of July build date, 247847- found no documentation on this number, appears to correspond to the plant sequence number, 012171- ?) As you can see, it is originally root beer brown with a white stripe on bottom and white vinyl top- it looks to me like the original paint (except for the rattle can roof of course). As you can also hopefully see, the paint is faded and the clear coat has come off on much of the car, although the lower portion of the car has nice shiny root beer brown metallic. The interior is tan and needs restoration work, although all the seats, door panels, console, sail panels, seat belts, etc. are there. It has a round gage dash with idiot lights and a cracked up dash pad filled with a bondo repair attempt LOL. No carpet. The column is a standard floor shift non-tilt column, with a crappy, sticky steering wheel. Car has power disc brakes, air conditioning (not working of course) and the dual hump cross member. Exhaust has been cut behind the glasspack mufflers. I do not have keys to the doors. Does not have a trunk lock. I will not sell any parts from the car at this point. The car deserves a restoration and it’s absolutely worth the effort. This would be an awesome car restored as these are very underrated and COOL cars!!! The winning bidder is to contact me at auction’s end and the car is to be paid for in full within 14 days of auction’s end with no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for shipping.
