1972 Jaguar E-Type Series III V-12 Silver with Red Leather VIN UC1S20625 This is a solid, well maintained E-Type purchased from the second owner who bought it in 1988 and retitled the car to his summer home address in 1992. I bought the car a year ago to keep as the occasional weekend driver, but shortage of garage space forces me to make some choices in my collection. I did all the work on the car and have close to 50 years of professional automotive tech experience. Everything works as it should. I had the car painted locally and they did excellent work. The car runs well, has a new top and is an absolute joy to drive, particularly nice is the power steering which you rarely will find on E-Types of previous years. It can be used as a weekend or even daily driver that will turn heads wherever it goes; 2. By "perfect candidate for a future restoration," meaning it is a fantastic start for taking the car to a high level, showroom, "as new" status, as you would see at Pebble Beach or other concours event.
