The vehicle currently has 55,357 miles, was removed from service in Aug 2011 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues present. The tires have approximately 30 – 40% tread remaining. The exterior is in fair condition. The roof has one plugged & sealed hole where an antenna was previously mounted. There are also three spots on the roof where the paint has started to peel through to the primer. The driver’s side rear quarter panel has one plugged & sealed hole where an antenna was previously mounted. The passenger side “c-pillar” has a large spot where the paint has peeled through to the primer. There are 3-4 nicks on the rear bumper. The interior is in good condition. There are two screw holes present in the floorboard from where the center console was previously mounted. This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in April 2011, at 43,868 miles. Repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Aug 2011, at 55,350 miles, the manifold, spark plugs, boots, & the #1 cylinder ignition coil were replaced. In July 2011, at 55,070 miles, the air conditioner was vacuumed down & recharged. In Dec 2010, at 52,790 miles, the right front tire was replaced & the front brake dust covers were secured. In Aug 2010, at 51,748 miles, the right rear tire was repaired and the belt tensioner was replaced. In Apr 2009, at 46,075 miles, the rear tires, front & rear brake pads/rotors, & battery were replaced. Also, the trunk lock cylinder was removed & repaired. In Apr 2008, at 38,622 miles, the transmission tail shaft seal & belt were replaced. In Aug 2007, at 34,257 miles, the rearview mirror was tightened. In May 2007, at 31,596 miles, the oil cooler line seals & front tires were replaced. In Apr 2006, at 24,159 miles, the battery was replaced. In Dec 2005, at 21,772 miles, the front tires were replaced. In Apr 2005, at 17,123 miles, the front brake pads/rotors & left rear tire were replaced. In Dec 2004, at 14,079 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In Aug 2004, at 11,997 miles, the windshield was replaced & the axle shaft was repaired/replaced under warranty due to a recall at the local Ford dealer. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
