Vehicle Detail

I bought this truck brand new from a local Nissan dealer in July 2005, and it currently has just over 63,000 miles on it. We planned to trailer horses at the time, but that never happened. Since I have a company car, this Nissan has become a garage queen (the reason for the lower miles). Although it is a 4x4, I’ve never done anything off-road beyond drive across a field. And, it has a trailer hitch, but I’ve never trailered with it. Unlike some vehicles on eBay, this was not work truck, was not leased and I have maintenance logs. I even have the original window sticker, owner’s manual and other such paperwork. All recalls and services were completed in a timely fashion. The only non-Nissan items I added to the truck is a Prodigy trailer brake controller, a Truxedo bed cover and a JBA stainless exhaust. This is Deep Water Blue outside (looks like dark green with a touch of blue), with a gray cloth interior. The interior has the split bench seat with folding center console (more useful that the bucket seats), and the rear window slides open. As an SE, it has a CD/Radio/MP3 Jack and power locks and windows. This truck was factory-equipped with the Utili-Track Bed system, which is a factory spray-in bedliner, 12 volt DC outlet in the bed, driver’s side lockbox by the rear wheel, extra bed lights and a side/floor track system with 4 moveable cleats and 2 adjustable stops. It has the nicer original spare wheel (alloy) and all tools. The wheels are the original 18 x 8.0 alloys. I installed Nissan All-Weather floor mats front and rear in the truck, so the original carpeted Nissan floor mats were never used (both sets are included). I also purchased the Nissan removable bed extender and Nissan trailer hitch when I bought the truck. And this truck comes with the complete 4 volume Nissan Titan workshop manual, 4 quarts of the correct Nissan automatic transmission fluid, a spare serpentine belt and 2 NAPA Gold oil filters along with assorted odds and ends. One big bonus is that both the front and rear axles were upgraded to later, heavier-duty axles under warranty. Early Titans were known to have axle issues after the driveline warranty expired….no such worries in this truck. I fitted Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo tires at 49,111 miles (so plenty of tread left) and had the front alignment checked at the same time. I installed a NAPA 75 month Legend battery at 58,810 miles/ Dec 2010, did the front brake pads and rotors at 52,665 and the rear brake pads and rotors at 42,107. I changed the serpentine belt in 2009, and I change the cabin filter every spring. I’ve used Mobil One since new, and synthetics in the driveline where not specified by Nissan to an exact fluid. I log all the maintenance work. If I was going to keep the truck, I’d change the oil and change the brake fluid before winter, but I tend to be more conservative than the manuals. Although this truck tends to sit in the garage, I took it from Ohio to South Carolina last month (1500 miles) with no issues. Nothing like a twin-cam, 4 valve, all-alloy Japanese V-8 on the West Virginia interstates. Negatives: 1. The manual gear selector switch (on the end of the stalk) does not work. This was diagnosed by the dealer as being the electronic switch in the stalk..they wanted $300-400 to fit a new one, but since I don’t off-road , I thus didn’t fix it. Otherwise, the 4x2 and 4x4 (High and Low) driveline systems work perfectly. 2. Being a truck, there are few little scratches and little dents here and there on the body, and a small stain or two in the interior. But nothing like a real “work” truck that gets abused. This truck has never been in a accident or had any bodywork. The reserve is very reasonable on this truck, and I will require a $1,000 PayPal deposit within 48 hours. Final cash-only payment at pick up, which can be set up over the following 2-3 weeks. I have a clear title. Please email with any questions…I tend to be tied up at work a lot, so I may answer only in the later evenings. Once the auction is closed, it is final.
