1997 Ford F-250 Crew Cab XLT 4x4 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel Short Bed 5 speed manual transmission. It has 161,762 miles. Very rare body style with the crew cab short bed and 5 speed manual diesel. It is in exceptional condition with very minimal wear and tear. It is white with gray cloth interior. Truck looks just as great in person. It is a one-owner truck, which has always been on the West coast, and always garaged. It has absolutely no rust and has never been in an accident! It has the famous 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel with a 5 speed manual transmission! It has all the standard XLT features and some factory upgrades: CD player, 4.10 axle, sliding rear window, dual lumbar support, shift on the floor 4x4, trailer tow package, and much more. It also has some aftermarket items including: “Smitty Bilt” cab steps, Tekonsha brake controller “Bed Rug”, pyrometer gauge, trans temp gauge, boost gauge, Banks Intercooler System, Banks Power Components [gauges], Banks power pack, and Leer Camper shell (latch handle is broken). Truck comes with 4 keys and 2 key fobs. On the exterior, the truck is very straight. Very minimal wear and tear for this year and mileage. There is a very small ding in the driver’s side front quarter panel (see pictures). There are no other notable dings or dents on the truck. Cosmetically this truck is in amazing condition. The paint is very nice, with no fading or oxidation. The inside of the bed is likewise in remarkable condition with only very light wear. I temporarily removed the shell and bed rug to take pictures and show the nice condition of the bed, bed rails and back of cab. The back of the cab does have some rub marks from the shell. This truck has never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. The undercarriage is very clean. The interior is in exceptional condition. All the power windows, door locks, etc work great. A/C and heater work great. The gray cloth interior of the truck is in excellent condition. The dash has one very small imperfection and the steering wheels has considerable wear (both items are clearly shown in pictures). The instrument panel, headliner, and carpet are all in very nice condition. No smoke odor! Non-smoker! Mechanically, the engine runs great, the manual transmission shifts as it should, and the suspension is solid. A new clutch was installed in the truck two months ago. The 265/75/16 load range “E” tires have reasonable tread remaining, but there is some noticeable cracking on the sidewalls from the desert heat. The aluminum wheels are in great condition. This truck fires right up in the morning! This is certainly one of the cleanest, well kept 1997 Ford F-250 7.3L diesels on the market. Being a 1997, it is the last year of this body style.
