Vehicle Detail
Ok, Here we go Mopar Fans! A diamond in the rough. Lots of pictures at https://picasaweb.google.com/btofmb/September14201102?authkey=Gv1sRgCJeHr7nA29X9hQE You should be able to copy the above link and paste it in your browsers address bar and look at all the pictures Up for a no reserve auction is this Originally CANARY YELLOW 1970 Roadrunner coupe according to VIN it is a True 70 roadrunner originally equipped with 383 auto that has been converted to a 440 CI "HP" Engine with a crane performance cam. Has a 4 speed manual trans. I do not have the original motor or trans. It is rough inside and out (Left-Driver side rear quarter panel repair job would make an elementary school art student look like a pro) The good is the chassis or sub frame is solid. Rear trunk pan needs replacing as well as rear quarters. The cab floor pan is solid and sub frame is solid -There is no rust in sub frame, mostly just needs sheet metal in rear. I have a clear Ca. title and it is currently registered. It does Run and Drive has a strong engine and trans shifts good, and goes down road good, .All Glass is good and windows, door locks do work- It is a Manual brakes car with drums, and on this 3500# car it does seems to lack braking power. The Fender Tag is missing, I am told there may be a broadcast sheet under seat and will pull seat to confirm. If... there is a sheet there sometime during auction I will post a picture and options. My understanding is it was originally a factory AC car, however I have none of the AC parts from engine compartment for it. Included in the Auction is a collection of new and used Mo par Parts, including new Master Cylinder, Alternator, Distributor, Hp Cam with Rhoads lifters, Complete gasket set, and boxes of stuff-Take it all! This Vehicle is being offered to the highest bidder for a No reserve price of $1500.00 Please Read this entire description and view ALL the pictures BEFORE calling and asking Questions. Cashiers check, Personal Check, Must be verified "cleared" before vehicle can be picked up, or balance minus deposit in cash before car will be released. You can reach me Monday thru Friday 8-5 West Coast Time- 805-772-1985 ask for Bill On Sep-24-11 at 17:11:15 PDT, seller added the following information: For all of you that are interested in this car "Worldwide" and/or "Statewide" this vehicle does run and drive, fly here (nearest Airport is San Luis Obispo, Ca 12 miles south of us) and drive it home. We are approximately a 3.5 hr drive North up the coast from Los Angeles International Airport ( a Scenic drive) I will be happy to assist in loading onto a car hauler or transport, if you arrange shipping I will NOT, however "ARRANGE" shipping and or transport of this car for free as part of the purchase price. If you would like ME to arrange shipping and/or handling to another state and/or country. There will be a 10% of purchase price handling fee above and beyond the actual cost of shipping, container fitting, Import fees, customs fees, any applicable taxes, etc, etc... for overseas shipping. My zip code is 93442 You be the judge if its worth the effort and cost. Several people are asking about rear end. It is a 3:23 Non-Posi, Storage is available in a locked gated storage lot for 75.00 a month I have had several questions regarding left rear quarter and I think a picture is worth a thousand words so please view pictures closely at link provided in ad It will at the very LEAST need a Driver Side quarter panel and trunk spare tire pan (chicken wire and plaster of paris was recipe for the day on the quarter) The damage may be repairable if you are a good metal man (which I am not! but I can say with a clear conscious that I did not do "this" nasty repair) I think it would be easier to replace than repair I hope this answers all of your questions Any last minute questions?
