The vehicle currently has 102,859 miles, was removed from service in Aug 2011 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The vehicle appears to drive well with no apparent issues present. The tires have approximately 40 – 50% tread remaining. There is no spare tire with the vehicle. The exterior is in poor condition. The hood has a large circular spot where the paint has peeled down to the primer. There are some light scratches/scrapes on the driver’s side front fender. There are light scratches the near driver door handle. The door molding of both the driver’s door and the driver’s side rear door have multiple scrapes/nicks. The “b-pillar” of both the driver’s door and driver’s side rear door has light scratches present. The driver’s side rear door has some light scratches near the top portion of the door. The roof has a couple of rock chip present, a small (approximately quarter-size) circular spot where the paint has peeled down to the primer, some scratches from where the light bar mounting feet rested & were clamped to the car (including some rusting on the passenger side), and four plugged/sealed holes from where the light bar power cable & antennas were previously mounted. The driver’s side rear quarter panel has 3-4 chips, plus a few light scratches present. The trunk has a large circular spot where the paint has peeled down to the primer and an oval dent on the driver’s side lip of the truck. The passenger side quarter panel has several minor chips/scratches, paint peeling on the c-pillar near the lower corner of the rear window & near the top corner of the passenger side rear door. The passenger side rear door has one approximately 6-7” long light scratch and approximately 1” long light scratch & one chip. The passenger side front door has one scratch near the door handle and one area where the paint has started to peel on the front edge. There are some light scratches on the passenger side front fender. The weather stripping around the passenger front turn signal lens is loose. The interior is in fair condition. There are two small screw holes in the floorboard from where the center console was previously mounted. There is one small screw hole to the left of the climate controls on the dash and one small hole below this screw hole. There are minor miscellaneous marks & discoloration on the headliner. There are 2 rectangular cutouts in the b-pillar trim from where the center prisoner cage was previously mounted. The driver’s seat fabric is starting to tear & fray. The back of the seatback has some small rectangular indentations/tears from the seat rubbing against the prisoner cage when installed. This vehicle was serviced on a 60-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in July 2011 at 100,361 miles. At this service, the pinion seal, rear brake pads, rotors, left tire, intake manifold, all spark plugs, spark plug boots, & the thermostat were replaced. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Aug 2011, at 102,731 miles, the air conditioner was recharged & the accumulator was replaced. In early Aug 2011, at 101,463 miles, the air conditioner was recharged & the ABS module was replaced. In May 2011, at 97,971 miles, the third brake light bulbs were replaced. In Mar 2011, at 95,143 miles, the passenger side headlight was replaced. Also in Mar 2011, at 95,071 miles, the vehicle was repaired at a local auto body shop due to accident damage on the lower portion of the front bumper of the car. At this time, the horn was also replaced. In early Mar 2011, at 88,511 miles, power steering fluid was added to the power steering system. In Jan 2011, at 87,168 miles, the vehicle was repaired at a local auto body shop due to damage at the rear of the car. In early Jan 2011, at 86,345 miles, the right rear outer turn signal bulb, right front marker light bulb, and right rear tire were replaced. In Nov 2010, at 84,597 miles, the right front door alignment was adjusted. In Oct 2010, at 82,922 miles, the vehicle had the transmission repaired due to the transmission slipping. In Aug 2010, at 81,981 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In July 2010, at 80,864 miles, the battery was recharged. In May 2010, at 79,212 miles, the transmission was replaced. In Sept 2009, at 69,976 miles, the vehicle was repaired at a local auto body shop due to having accident damage at the right front portion of the vehicle. In July 2009, at 68,197 miles, the battery was replaced. In May 2009, at 65,870 miles, the right headlight, passenger airbag indicator light, and cooling fan assembly were replaced. In May 2009, at 65,100 miles, the battery was replaced and the left front tire was repaired. In Apr 2009, at 64,363 miles, the battery was recharged and trunk lock cylinder was repaired. In Mar 2009, at 63,630 miles, the right rear window was repaired. Also in Mar 2009, at 63,267 miles, the right headlamp was replaced. In Mar 2009, at 62,497 miles, the battery was recharged. In Feb 2009, at 61,602 miles, the blower motor and lower control arm were replaced. In Jan 2009, at 61,063 miles, the water pump was replaced. Also in Jan 2009, at 60,834 miles, the license plate bulb and all spark plug were replaced & the battery recharged. In Oct 2008, at 57,084 miles, the blend air door motor assembly was replaced. Also in Oct 2008, at 56,310 miles, the brake pads & rotors and three tires were replaced. In Sep 2008, at 53,596 miles, the left rear tire and front license plate bracket were replaced. In July 2008, at 49,507 miles, the right rear axle, outer axle bearings, seals, brake pads, rotors, and left rear ABS sensor were replaced. Also in July 2008, at 49,555 miles, the driver’s door window switch assembly. In June 2008, at 48,600 miles, the passenger side headlamp bulb was replaced. In May 2008, at 46,240 miles, the airbag jewel, battery, and water pump were replaced. In Mar 2008, at 42,318 miles, the right headlamp bulb was replaced. Also in Mar 2008, at 41,797 miles, the heater fan speed control switch assembly was replaced. In early Mar 2008, at 41,796 miles, three tires were replaced. In Feb 2008, at 40,420 miles, the passenger side headlamp bulb was replaced. In Jan 2008, at 37,090 miles, the dome light bulbs were replaced. In Dec 2007, at 35,888 miles, one tire was replaced. In Nov 2007, at 34,827 miles, the front & rear brake pads & rotors were replaced. Also, the left parking brake shoes were replaced and the blower motor/fan assembly, the transmission cooler & lower ball joint assembly were replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Oct 2007, at 31,170 miles, the driver’s side headlight bulb was replaced. In Aug 2007, at 27,883 miles, the right rear window was repaired. In July 2007, at 25,557 miles, the driver’s window was repaired. In June 2007, at 22,862 miles, the lateral arm assembly, shock absorbers, and suspension bars were replaced. In early June 2007, at 20,745 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In May 2007, at 18,072 miles, the front brake pads & rotors were replaced and the right rear tire was repaired. In Apr 2007, at 16,768 miles, the thermostat assembly, blower motor, & fan assembly were replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Mar 2007, at 14,500 miles, the right rear window was replaced. In Feb 2007, at 12,658 miles, the spot light bulb was replaced. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process.
