Up for auction today is a 1956 Chevrolet 210 2 dr. Post custom rat rod. It has a 350 with a 350 turbo transmission, 411 (?) rear end, and a custom B & M Pro-Ratchet Shifter with new gauges and tachometer. Also has a vintage 1960s Performance 500 custom wheel, factory AM radio (not hooked up), brand new antenna, new side mirrors (not shown in pictures but just installed), late model van leather/vinyl bucket seats with full arm rests, and original back seat that was rolled and pleated in the 1960s. The door panels were also redone in the 1960s with original chrome. The interior has new black carpet on the floor and back window ledge. The motor is fully chromed out with a newer Holley carburetor and intake with headers and a mild cam. Newer parts include battery and cable, brakes and master cylinder, starter, shocks, etc. It has white letter tires with chrome reverse wheels and baby flat moons hubcaps. Newer throaty dual exhaust. Some newer chrome and emblems (original stainless in good shape), newer factory tinted windshield and back window, and some new side glass. It is still a work in progress and predominantly needs a headliner, windshield wipers (have some parts), wiring harness, and maybe re-chromed or painted bumpers. Runs strong and shifts smoothly. The body is all steel with new floors and trunk. There is very little body filler in a few spots. However, this is a 56-year old car that is being sold AS-IS with NO guarantees (what you see is what you get). There is no warranty expressed or implied.
