I am the original owner of this 2000 Mustang GT with a badtransmission. It’s been sitting forabout 2 years. I start the car every 4 weeks and run the gas out, then replaceit. The transmission is not working correct; it sticks bad in gears, and it canbe hard to get it out of reverse. (you need to “goose” the engine, feather the clutch to pop it out of being stuck) I domove it around the yard, it works enough for that, however I would not drive itvery far on the road. Since I don’t havethe time to replace the transmission and have to pay basic insurance on it, its being sold. The following is all the details about this car:Has always run ames oil since the first oil change, and the engineis still in great shape. Installed are rear 4.11’s with the ford spool purchased from jegs. Clutch still works fine.The brakes and tires (toyo) were recently replaced; thisincludes new calipers in the back as well. Engine has 70mm throttle body, improved air induction, newinjectors (rebuilt) / plugs. The engineand the exhaust are stock. No major engine modifications have been made.In order to fix the Speedo due to the 4.11’s, the “Predator”engine config computer is included. This works really well bumping up thetiming with the new ethanol gas for ailtte more hp. The mileage is really about100k. Its higher because I ran without the spedo upgrade for awhile.Various small things don’t work, ABS is disabled, thecooling light is on, it’s a sensor. Check engine is NOT on. Included is the “Black Widow” radar jammer,which is disconnected but comes with the car.http://www.radarscramblers.com/product_blackwidow.htmThe body is not too bad, fender was replaced, but paint isnot perfect and other various body fixes have been done. Interior not to bad; see pictures.With the 4.11’s in 2009 it would have no problem keeping upwith modern-day mustangs. If you put a new transmission in it, it will run fine.
