1969 Frame Off Restored SS396 Chevelle You are viewing an absolutely amazing 69 Chevelle, this car has been near flawlessly restored to its original state. There was no single nut or bolt left unturned! This car is just beautiful, concours-level refinishing throughout. The car is as near to perfect as you are likely to find. Car has been driven less than 100 miles since a full frame off restoration (only the Woodward Dream Cruise). I will describe the car to the best of my knowledge below.BODY: All sheet metal on a 41K mile body, Stripped to bare metal and expertly refinished in its original code 57 Fathom Green, laser straight and mirror deep, then given a cut & buff job second to none. You'll notice the floors are the correct satin black, while the frame is semigloss, as are the control arms and rear axle, just as they should be. Every piece of chrome was either replaced or rechromed, every piece of glass was replaced with Soft Ray tinted glass. All new Soft Seal weatherstripping. Every wiring harness replaced using only the finest replacements. Trunk is highly detailed and perfect. All correct hardware used for reassembly. Panel fitment is excellent. Just look how straight the stripes are. 90% of these cars have sagging doors and the stripes are off.SUSPENSION: Everything either refinished or replaced including all suspension and steering components, inspection marks and labels are all present, hanging from there new lines, painted on components and stamped onto assemblies. All new Power Steering and brakes. 373 12 Bolt Posi-traction rear with all new gears & axles. New gas tank. A new set of refinished original SS wheels are accented by a new set of correct Good Year Polyglas tires (still have the nibs on them).DRIVETRAIN: Date code correct 396 cubic inch big block 350hp V8 backed up by the original Muncie Rockcrusher 4 speed transmission with a new Hurst shifter. Both the motor and transmission have been expertly rebuilt and run great! Runs like you remember them running. Starts with the twist of the key and settles into a nice idle. All accessories are fully detailed to look new & original. Just look at the pics,INTERIOR: Again, everything replaced and new. Console, Rosewood Wheel, Tilt Wheel, headliner, seats, carpet, dash etc. All in there correct Parchment color, what a beautiful combo. Everything works just as it should. Immaculate. They don't make them like this anymore and this is a first class resto on an original SS396 Chevelle. I have 100's of pics and can send any you want, can also send video to serious bidders.
