Vehicle Detail

redlined store 1970 Mach 1 Ford Mustang SURVIVOR - Collector Quality MACH 1 1970 Ford Mach 1 Mustang Fastback Extremely Original SURVIVOR Mustang Are you ready to own an AMAZING CAR? This Mach 1 is EXTREMELY ORIGINAL with only 109,200 miles on the clock. I am the 2nd owner of this CALIFORNIA, RUST-FREE Mach 1 and I purchased this car from the original owner, who is a family member and who also lives in California. This Mustang has been GARAGE-KEPT, its entire 41 YEARS! Prior to my ownership (approximately 10 years ago) this Mustang was driven only occasionally and it has very low miles for its age. When going to the store, the original owner was in the habit of parking the car far away from any other car in order to avoid dings. This is a creampuff! The only thing I've done to this car is add the American Racing wheels and BF Goodrich tires, and I am also including the original wheel covers and tires that came with the car when I bought it. I've spoken with a variety of Mach 1 owners who are amazed at the engine tags (buck tags, etc.) that are STILL ON THIS CAR, that were typically removed over the years. If you are looking for a collector-quality Mach 1 - a survivor that will be your pride for years to come, this is it. I even have the BUILD SHEET for this amazing car! (it was found in the right door panel when we went to replace the window regulator) Details: Here are some of the details about this car, straight from the Marti Report, which will also be included in this sale. This Mach 1 is an automatic trans car that starts right up and drives very smoothly with no problems whatsoever. It has only been driven very occasionally during my ten year ownership. It has been a dependable Mustang for the ten years that I've owned it and a blast to drive! It has the Cleveland 351 with a 4 barrel and really kicks in when you step on it! The engine went through an early rebuild - probably at the dealership. The car was repainted once (again, early in its life) and probably at the dealership. The interior is in amazing condition, though there are a few amateur patches (to the driver's armrest) that were added by the previous owner - see photos. The exterior has a mild scrape on the right-front wheel arch lip There is also a mild spot of Blue paint on the left-front edge, where the car was mildly "rubbed" by another car that I owned while moving cars within the warehouse where it was garaged. There are the typical few chips and nicks that you would find on a car of this age, but the paint is incredibly well-preserved overall. The clock and the "Rimblow" horn mechanism do not work, but all other interior mechanisms are great! There is also some aging wear to the lower "satin black" valance panels - it could use a touch up, but again, this car is so original, why mess with originality? This is a car that you want to leave as original as possible! This car is truly an amazing piece of history due to its originality. Here are some more pics - be sure to send me your questions. \ Payment Terms: Initial deposit of $1,000 must be made within 24 hours of listing end.
