For your consideration is a used 2000 Cadillac DeVille DHS. The car is loaded with features including those above, and has power and heated seats, and does just about anything you could expect a car to do, and also has a rear bumper back up alert system. The car was purchased three years ago and ran very well. It was purchased for my wife, who was the only person to drive it while in my ownership. I had the car checked out at my local repair shop, and some recommendations were made. The car was running slightly warmer than it should, so a new water pump and radiator was installed. That corrected the problem, for about two years, then it started losing coolant. I purchased a replacement engine to install in the car, but one of the front mounting points was damaged when the engine was removed from the donor car, but not noticed until I received the engine. The car has been parked since. I have mixed emotions about selling it, but realize I may never get around to repairing either engine. The right front fender was replaced after the car was parked, as I believe the previous owner kicked the original fender just above the wheel opening and creased it. The exterior of the car needs a good cleaning and the interior is very clean, save some stains on the front mats. The dash top has a heat deformity on the drivers side, but I have a replacement dash top included with the car. The only item on the car that was inoperable when it was parked was the heater, which had been disconnected due to a bad core. I purchased a new heater core, which is in the trunk. My wife loved this car, and was sick when it was parked, but we now have too many vehicles and a few need to find new homes. The tires have about 500 miles on them, and I believe I had the brakes done also. I am unsure of the exact mileage as the battery was dead at the time of this posting, so I was unable to check the odometer, but it had 159400 when the car was purchased on 7-18-2008. The engine is inoperable at this time due to the coolant issue, though it was running when it was parked. I would appreciate a local pick up of the car if possible, as I know nothing about vehicle shipping.
