Up for sale is a 1985 mustang 5.0. The car drives down the road great, but can also hold it's own on the track. Under the hood is a 302 HO with a stock bore.It has trw pistons with a complete comp roller cam lifter and rocker set. It has a cloyes double roller timing chain.The heads are elderbrock aluminium with a offenhouser intake. It has an elderbrock 650 cfm carb with a k&n air filter.To help the fire and keep the motor under the control it has a msd ignition box with a 7200 pill. For the exhaust it has long tube headers with cut outs for the track and flowmasters for the street. To help the car hook up it has a set of traction bars on the rear. The car has a 5 speed trany with a good clutch. The interior of the car is in good shape but has some problems. It does not have a radio and the dash has a crack in it. The speed o does not work but the other gauges work fine. The seat on the driver side has a small tear in it were you get in and out of it. The factory tach does not work do to the fact that it has a sunpro 5 inch tach on the dash. For the exterior it is going to need some paint, but the body has no rust on it and is in pretty good shape. The only problem is it has 2 small dents on the passenger side front fender. The tires on the rear are in good shape and are mounted on 15/8 weld drag lites. The front tires have good tread but have some dry rot spots on them and they are on 15/4 weld drag lites. For the year of the car it is in good shape but like every thing with age it does need some tlc but it will make a good street t ride or race car.
