This is my best toy ever, sad to let it go 1969 GMC 2WD 1500 I am the third owner , the truck was driven by a Sheriff in the past and has a siren mounted on the engine compartment Clean and runs great 3 speed transmission on column, fun to drive No power steering , but easy to drive Get's a lot attention any place I go Was very original with drum brakes . I replace the drum brakes with disk brakes at the same time put a 2 1/2 lower kit from Performance Inc. The kit includes New disk brakes , new hoses, new spindles , tie rods ( everything under the suspension is new and was replaced ) or the brake hoses were replaced The kit alone cost $ 2000 plus instalation I still have all the old parts in case You like to keep The truck runs and drives great The last picture was with the original rims and not lowered yet Here's a video http://youtu.be/CWbzfWkHmqs 20 inches Wheels with 295/45/20 on the rear and 245/40/ 20 on front The 20 "wheels and tires alone cost around $ 2500 plus Wood bed installed I have the kit to lower the rear ( 300 bucks ) still on the box, I just like the look right now I have many pictures that I wll post and attach a web site to see the before and after pictures as well the work done http://www.flickr.com/photos/23121482@N05/sets/72157627249346584/ The paint job was done by Macoo by the previows owner .
