Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my pride and joy, a 1997 Ford F-350 XLT PowerStroke Diesel 4x4 Crew Cab Pickup. The last year of in my opinion the best body style Ford EVER offered! Hard to find this clean, and on top of it, this LOW MILEAGE! NEVER IN A WRECK! CLEAR OREGON TITLE! This truck gets compliments everywhere I go. Now for the good stuff. 1997 Ford F-350, 103,000 ORIGINAL MILES, 7.3 Liter Powerstroke Diesel, Long Bed, REBUILT HEAVY DUTY Automatic Transmission, 4 Wheel Drive, Power Windows/Locks, Power Lumbar, CD Player, A/C, 4 Door Crew Cab, 4" Turbo Back exhaust, PAC Brake Exhaust Brake, AFE Cold Air Intake. Absolutely immaculate condition, no stains, NEVER smoked in, seats look practically perfect! Not one dent or ding on this truck, has a couple of VERY SMALL Scratches. HISTORY: I am the third owner of this truck. I purchased it from my wife's uncle, whom purchased from the original owner at 58k miles. After roughly 10k miles, the transmission began to act up, and therefore my wife's uncle had the transmission completely rebuilt, and installed a towing shift kit, as well as a heavy duty torque converter. I then purchased it from the uncle at 87k miles approximately 1 1/2 years ago. Never had a problem at all with the truck, the only thing I did was change the ORIGINAL batteries, changed oil a few times, fuel filter, new exhaust, and also AFE Intake. DRIVETRAIN: Truck drives great. No weird noises, slipping, etc. The transfer case engages in and out of 4 wheel drive with no hesitation. Very rarely off-road, and when it was, it was during the snow season to get christmas trees! Just look at the photos of the undercarriage! No mud or grime! 7.3 Powerstroke runs like a top, LOTS of power and torque. Has a very small exhaust leak that you can hear click a little bit, which i was told by my diesel mechanic is from the exhaust brake. Doesnt smell or anything, just simply a little click, and I barely hear it. Transmission was rebuilt as stated above at close to 70k miles, and upgraded with heavy duty everything. Axles are 4.10 gear ratio, which is great for towing. Fuel mileage on the freeway is about 16 MPGs... around 14 in town... if you keep your speed below 60, I achieved 18.6 on my way to Bend, Oregon, which is 7 hours round trip. Has 285x75R16 Toyo Mud Terrain Tires on it with about 30% Tread. They are load range E and are mounted on 16" chrome wheels. Cosmetic: Interior is practically flawless. Never smoked in, dash is perfect, headliner is perfect, seats are perfect. Truck has had seat covers on it since 58k miles. I took them off for the photos only. Also, I run all-weather rubber mats, which I also removed for the photos, so you could see really how clean this truck is. Not one dent or ding on this truck. It has been well cared for. A couple of very small scratches, and I mean SMALL can be found on this truck. I am pretty much the only one that can find them! There are a couple of little markings on top of the tailgate as the video shows, but nothing major. Inside of bed is extremely nice, i have always had a rubber mat in it. MORE History: The original owner purchased the truck and pulled a small fifth wheel with it. My wife's uncle bought it with the intent to use it as a backup logging crew truck if he ever had problems with his other powerstroke. He didn't have the heart to do that to such a clean and beautiful truck, so he used it for his personal errands vehicle for years. I purchased the truck and then shortly later purchased a truck camper. I hauled that a few times for the last two summers I have owned it. It was always my 3rd vehicle as I wanted to keep the miles as low as possible on it. I simply have the opportunity to purchase a NEW truck is the only reason I am selling this one. A FEW ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE TRUCK, AS I AM PLANNING ON USING THEM WITH THE NEXT TRUCK I PURCHASE. I WILL INCLUDE THESE ITEMS IF YOU WOULD LIKE THEM FOR THE BELOW PRICES.
