Up for auction is a very well cared for, low mileage (53,400) 1989 Lincoln Town Car. It is in excellent condition and sells with a remote start system and a Panasonic AM/FM/CD. Also the A/C has been converted to R-134. This car has been a daily driver with regular oil changes and other maintenance – it has not been sitting idle in a garage for years where the belts, hoses, and tires may have become dry and brittle. Both front wheel bearings were recently replaced, and there is plenty of tread left on the 4 matching Michelin tires. The cloth seats, carpet, and headliner are in excellent condition. The paint is in excellent condition as well. There is no rust or dents on the body, but there is a small area of rust on the front bumper. The only other issues with this car are a small tear in the driver’s arm rest and the rear windows do not work. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the engine is reliable and very powerful. Perhaps its greatest attribute is how well it drives in snow. This car handles beautifully and the turning radius is unbelievable. You’d swear that you were in a much smaller car. You can’t beat the smooth and comfortable ride you get whether on city streets or the highway! In my opinion the 1989 Town Car was the best Town Car that Lincoln ever made, and I am only selling this one because I just purchased another 1989 Town Car with less than 12,000 miles on it and I have no room for this great car!
